Jaime Pressly took to Twitter — does anyone think Twitter has basically eliminated the need for publicists? — to set the record straight on her public peeing incident.  Sure, bathroom lines can get long at The Abbey, but Pressly wasn’t that desperate. ”Yes….that is me doing dare #8 at my bridal shower..Things are not always what they seem.. Notice my hand in the back..its pouring a bottle of water!!! C’mon guys! Do you think i would really pee in the entry way to the Abbey in broad DAYLIGHT!!!  Way to spin a story!! Breaking news huh? wow!!!!”

So, what do you think?  Is she just making up an excuse and trying to hide the truth behind a wall of exclamation points or is she telling the truth?  I think Perez got this “exclusive” wrong, but he maintains that Pressly is lying.  Above is the video he uses as proof of her public peeing.

I guess Jamie Foxx Show alum Garcelle Beauvais shared a bit too much during an interview with host Wendy Williams.  She fesses up to seeing Foxx recently and learning about his new baby.  A baby that he hasn’t acknowledged publicly yet.  Oops!  Stay tuned for the “I am happy to announce that I am the proud father of …” statement.  By my estimation, it should be on the wire any minute.

Listen, I don’t think it’s even mentionable that Rachel McAdams and Josh Lucas broke up.  Did anyone even know care that they were together in the first place?  No.  But since Jessica and Nick have been such a reconciliation disappointment, I’ve shifted my focus to Rachel McAdams.

Isn’t it possible, now that she’s single again, that she can get back with Ryan Gosling?  Didn’t they seem like the perfect couple even outside of the roles they played in The Notebook?  Where did it go wrong with those two and can it be fixed?  I need a happy Hollywood ending and God only knows that I’m not going to get it from Lindsay and Sam.  Work it out Rach and Ry — do it for me!

It seems like almost every day I announce some new remake or hellacious sounding project that Hollywood has decided to produce.  So, for today’s installment of “I Can’t Believe Someone Agreed to Fund That” I’d like to let you know that there is going to be a Lego movie.  This officially confirms that any and all original thought is over.  Kaput.  Doesn’t exist.

Now count Warner Bros. as one of those studios: WB is toying with plans to develop a movie around Lego and its popular building blocks.

Scribes Dan and Kevin Hageman are penning the script for the family comedy that will mix live action and animation. Warners is keeping the plot tightly under wraps, but it’s described as an action adventure set in a Lego world.

Dan Lin, who is shepherding Warner Bros.’ “Sherlock Holmes” and exec produced the studio’s upcoming family film “Shorts,” will produce the movie through his Lin Pictures, which is also behind a “Tom and Jerry” film that will put the feuding animated characters in a live-action setting. The shingle’s Stephen Gilchrist serves as co-producer.

Roy Lee will produce through his Vertigo banner, while Jill Wilfert, VP of licensing and entertainment at Lego, will oversee the pic for the toymaker.

Directors and producers in town have attempted to make a Lego movie for years, approaching the Danish toymaker with various ideas, but Lego turned down most of them because it’s highly protective of its brand.

To date, Lego has made only a series of direct-to-DVD animated movies based on its Bionicle line.

But the company sparked to Lin and the Hageman brothers’ embrace of core values Lego wanted to include in a film, especially “a fun factor, creativity and that imagination has no boundaries,” Lin told Daily Variety. The film’s been in development for more than a year, with the scribes and producers making several trips to Denmark to work with Lego’s execs on the concept.

Also helping is the long relationship Warner Bros. has had with Lego over the years. Warner has licensed characters like Batman, Harry Potter and Speed Racer to Lego to integrate into playsets, and through TT Games, the videogame publisher that WB bought in 2007, has produced the popular “Lego Star Wars,” “Lego Indiana Jones,” “Lego Batman” and, soon, “Lego Rock Band” titles.

I guess this is why I’ll never be a movie tycoon.  Legos, to me, are the bane of my Dyson, not the basis of a 2011 blockbuster that will no doubt pull in $125M worldwide in its opening weekend.

After Full House disbanded in 1995, it’s like we never really knew what happened to Kimmy Gibbler.  So many unanswered questions like, “Did Kimmy ever wash her socks?”  After being the annoying neighbor for years, the fans deserved to know the fate of these actors — well, other than the ones that ended up on the Lifetime movie circuit.

Well, wonder no more.  The cast reunited — except for the members that actually have careers now (the Olsens, Lori Loughlin, John Stamos) to autograph a humongous bra (size 40K) to be auctioned off for a breast cancer charity.  Andrea Barber, the now-retired actress who played Kimmy, is seen above with Steve aka DJ’s boyfriend!

Dave Coulier, the inspiration for Alanis’ “You Oughta Know”, has pictures of the event on his website.  Yes, he has a website, and as long as it doesn’t contain clips of him doing Donald Duck impressions, I’m okay with that.

Kate Gosselin

Kate Gosselin has been doing her tour of talk shows this week where she shares more details about her marriage and how it went wrong.  Yesterday she taped Live with Regis and Kelly and the interview, slated to air tomorrow, took an unplanned and emotional detour.

Insiders say that the interview, which airs Thursday on “Live with Regis and Kelly,” was meant to be light and fluffy in the wake of Kate’s “Today” show breakdown this week. But it turned serious when Philbin went off-script and bluntly asked whether Kate could see herself reconnecting with hubby Jon.
“I can’t and won’t answer that,” the uncomfortable octomom said, stating firmly, “I keep certain things private, and that’s one.”
Perhaps the 77-year-old host should have kept his opinions similarly discreet, but he didn’t. “I think you [and your husband] will get back together and live happily ever after,” Philbin said. “I think everything is going to work itself out — he’ll say he’s sorry, that he loves you and everything will be good.”

A shocked Kate had no response as the show cut to a commercial break.

Later in the interview, Kate confessed her hope that she and Jon can get past their animosity, despite his recent extracurricular activities. The 32-year-old has squired wild child Hailey Glassman and former tabloid reporter Kate Major — and last weekend, reports surfaced that he’d spent the night with a 23-year-old baby-sitter who’d been caring for his kids. Regardless, Kate said her goal is to enjoy holidays and family time together again — unmarried.

“I didn’t expect my life to be like this,” Gosselin said, her voice cracking.

Says one audience member: “The only thing that seemed to be holding Kate together was Kelly [Ripa]. They really clicked — you could tell Kelly was completely sympathetic. Kate seemed so down. Even during the break, she appeared to be on the verge of tears.”

You know, Regis just joined the “It’s Time to Retire or Die ” club that Larry King founded.  Is he really so out of touch as to think that an “I’m sorry” would mend the Gosselin marriage?  A mea culpa isn’t going to cover Jon’s schtupping of the daughter of Kate’s plastic surgeon.

In the meantime, while Kate continues to bare her soul to any talk show host who will listen, Jon has been in NYC Porsche shopping – who knew they made a 10-seater? — with Hailey.  Which makes me wonder:  If Kate’s on TV and Jon’s at the car lot, who’s with the kids?
