Miley’s gnarly older brother Trace has some nasty things to say about the Jonas Brothers that may be somewhat of a conflict of interest for his Disney star sister. Turns out that Trace doesn’t think the JoBros are all that authentic. He recently mouthed off about them in a Details interview saying “I could have gone the route of the Jonas Bros. Those guys can’t live their lives freely. They have to put out this image that’s totally fake.”
He also went as far to imply that he has some sort of urge to fight Kevin and Joe saying, “I don’t think any of them would be much trouble,” says Cyrus. “I’d never lay a hand on Nick – I love that kid – but the other two better not get in my way.”
I don’t think Trace has to worry about crossing paths with “the other two” any time soon, as they are major pop stars and he’s lucky to be working.
Now that Jerry O’Connell, (probably best known for his roles in Sliders and Stand By Me) has twins with wife Rebecca Romijn, his agenda has changed quite a bit. While Rebecca works on her new series Eastwick (it’s due this fall), Jerry stays home to raise their two daughters, Charlie and Dolly. Since he’s got a bit of downtime from acting, O’Connell has decided to return to school.
Starting a couple of weeks ago, Jerry became a part-time law student at Southwestern Law School in Los Angeles. ”I had always planned on continuing my education at some point … and I’m home all day with the girls, I figured I would take a couple of classes at night. ”
I give him credit for deciding to complete his education; it would be so easy to just rely on his fame. I’m not sure how many more lawyers are needed in the City of Angels, but I wish him luck nonetheless!
As I told you earlier, the Gosselins had an altercation last night which led to the police being summoned to their home. Now, I am so happy to report that Jon took a few minutes to explain the incident to all the reporters that camp outside his house. It’s like I am now destined to have a good weekend all based on the existence of this tape. It’s a sign of God’s love, I’m telling you.
Jon accused Kate of “crying it up” for the police officers and talked with his hands a whole bunch. Favorite moment? Jon criticizing one of the paps for being unprofessional at 1:20.
Everyone I was so quick to blame Tony Romo for being your basic commitment-phobe, but new reports seem to point the finger at Jessica for being the cause behind their split.
“Jessica would get really drunk and obnoxious, it was out of control. She would be sprawled everywhere with he head on his lap and the look on Tony’s face said it all,” an insider told Tarts. “He was so embarrassed in front of all the guys and his teammates were really harsh on him over it. Breaking up was a really hard decision for Tony to make.”
We’re also told that the Dallas Cowboy really did love the pop princess and “fought for her” with his skeptical friends, but in the end, it got to a point where it just didn’t make sense for him to stay in the relationship.”
If this is true, and Papa Joe’s little genius is a lush, at least we already know what a talent Jessica has for reality television. I’ve got two words for Jess: Celebrity Rehab.
Here’s a sampler of some songs that you’ll find on Paris Hilton’s newest CD. Who can resist songs with names such as “Platinum Blonde,” “Girl Tax,” and “Jailhouse Baby”? Clearly an autobiographical project.
Now, I consider myself fairly adept at Internet research, but I can’t find a release date for this gem. Of course, that could be because I can only handle small doses of Paris Hilton links in general. I know she was struggling to find a record label who would pick up her sophomore (sophomoric?) effort. Did this happen?
