I wish that horrible book would just die! If i wanted to read about how a woman couldn’t get over her man for 300 pages, I’d read transcripts from Dateline episodes on female stalkers.
Agreed! Julia’s not ruining the movie, it’s the book that’s ruining the movie. “Wah, wah, wah, I’m married, rich, and live in a big house but I’m not happy. Wah. I got dumped. Wah. Let me take all my money and travel the world and have fantastic experiences and still never be happy. Wah.”
Ugh, the more I read of the book, the more I wanted to punch the author.

ugh – my book club read that book so i was forced to endure it and it was hideous: boring, shallow, forced, and lame. maybe julia IS the perfect person to play her!

I’m not going to pay good money to see that frock again. Julia’s last few movie’s haven’t done well, even with co-stars people like. This may be her last big A list throw her weight around to get a part she wants no matter if she’s right for the part or not movie.
This would be a good time for her to lay back, raise her kids and come back in a few years as a character actress. I hope so.

At least the shoot moved out of NYC. People in Brooklyn Heights and Cobble Hill were not happy about this movie being shot around them. For a week everyone was grumping hoping they would just go away, and take Julia with them.
