Miley’s gnarly older brother Trace has some nasty things to say about the Jonas Brothers that may be somewhat of a conflict of interest for his Disney star sister. Turns out that Trace doesn’t think the JoBros are all that authentic. He recently mouthed off about them in a Details interview saying “I could have gone the route of the Jonas Bros. Those guys can’t live their lives freely. They have to put out this image that’s totally fake.”
He also went as far to imply that he has some sort of urge to fight Kevin and Joe saying, “I don’t think any of them would be much trouble,” says Cyrus. “I’d never lay a hand on Nick – I love that kid – but the other two better not get in my way.”
I don’t think Trace has to worry about crossing paths with “the other two” any time soon, as they are major pop stars and he’s lucky to be working.

Yeah, that guy seems like a complete no-talent loser. Maybe instead of threatening to beat up people who have careers in singing (not fighting), he should work on creating music that isn’t just talking over major chords.
And really, I’ve never really questioned the authenticity of the Jonas Brothers. They seem genuinely religious to me, and seem to lead pretty straight-forward lives. Sure, Disney controls their image and what music they can release, but they seem pretty happy and comfortable with being handled by Disney.
He does have a career in singing (Metro Station), but obviously not as popular as JoBros.

I was unfortunate enough to catch Metro Station live in concert, they were supporting The Veronicas (who are awesome), and Trace Cyrus comes across as the most fake wannabe poser ever. He put on this extreme L.A. accent and sounded like an absolute tool. Kept jumping off drum kits and swinging his guitar around, but not in a natural way more like in a “hi-i-just-graduated-from-how-to-be-a-rockstar-101″. It was sad to watch really.
Yeah and way to bash Disney. The company who MADE your sisters career. Such a dumbarse.
