Well, I’m delighted for her. Absolutely delighted.
Apparently, she wore those soggy little ballet flats to the trial to PROVE that, at 5’3″, she couldn’t reach the face of a 5’7″ woman (I read this, by the way, at MSNBC — classy!). I asked a tall (6’2″) friend to “just… hold still while I punch you?” and demonstrated that, at 5’4″, I could easily smoosh him in the nose.
But that’s neither here nor there. Congratulations, Amy!
By believing this line of defence, our fantastic British courts have accepted the the idea that Amy Winehouse has arms that reach less than 3″ in any direction.
Apparently she is a woman with the arms of a T. Rex!
She is looking waaaaaay healthier and cleaner too. The ballet slippers are actually clean.

She’s a woman with the arms of a t-rex!
She was manhandled by a woman who was drunk, just because you are a performer doesn’t mean people have the right to touch you or grab you and drag you off for a photo. She’s a person, not a prop. I am glad she looks so well and seems to be coming together, I hope she has a chance to get her career back on track, she’s talented and deserves to be heard.
I am glad the woman didn’t make a dime the fact she was wrong. Oh, and she wasn’t injured either. I wish Amy all the best and hope her bad times are over.
