Today's Evil Beet Gossip

Debbie Rowe Will Kick. Your. Butt.

I’ve heard that the heat makes some people grumpy.  Apparently, that was the case with Debbie Rowe as she exited an Indian restaurant yesterday and started throwing out threats and wagging her acrylics at overzealous paps.  With a temper like that, I hope the courts will require her to have some anger management classes before trying to raise preteens, because they do a hell of a lot worse than bump into you.

After the jump, see what New York Congressman Peter King had to say about the low-life pervert, better known as Michael Jackson.

  • You’re kidding, right? This doesn’t mean she needs to take anger management classes. The paparazzi are scum and they deserve whatever anger they get. Those comments she made a few days ago about not wanting those kids, though…now THAT I’m concerned about.

  • Peter King is the true embarrassment to this country. First of all, he clearly barely made it through high scool because listening to him speak is like listening to a mentally challeneged middle schooler. Second of all, as a congressman, he is supposed to stand behind the courts of the United States of America….which never found MJ guilty of any crimes! Shut your hilly-billy mouth Peter!!!

  • Peter King, you’re my new hero. And to show my appreciation, I’ve got an extra white hood and robe I’ll be glad to send you at no charge. A true patriot, that’s what you are, my new BFF!

  • Don’t be mean Wendie. He was not a low-life pervert. I think this situation calls for the old saying that if you can’t say something nice, shut the hell up!

  • i haven’t been happy with wendie as a writer on this website for awhile now, but i don’t think i’ll be visiting this site anymore. a shame, since i do enjoy what beet has to say.

    • Everyone is entitled to their own opinions regarding writers’ styles. Personally, I find Wendie’s writing to be sharp and entertaining. I’m sure there are many other readers out there who would agree. Frankly, it seems pretty cruel to leave such a negative comment regarding the writing style here. If you don’t enjoy it, just stop visiting the site. Wendie doesn’t come to your workplace and criticize your work (at least I don’t think she does). And if there are people out there who want to criticize, it is important for those of us who love the writing to also be vocal. So, kudos Wendie! Keep up the entertaining irony!

      • Let me see if I get this right. Wendie criticizes and ridicules at will, but her readers are not free to criticize her criticism? It’s not personal. It’s just gossip.

      • Here’s the difference: People come to this site looking for their entertainment news with an opinion. Otherwise, they’d read the entertainment section of a “unbiased” newspaper. Whether or not the reader agrees with that opinion is irrelevant to the quality of the writing, and Wendie is a solid writer. It seems her use of reference and irony is sometimes overlooked or misinterpreted.

    • I agree with you. I have been disappointed by many comments made about Michael Jackson since he died. I have been a daily follower of this website for a long time and I love cynicism and humor. But comments like the one above have saddened me to the point of saying goodbye to Evil Beet.

  • lol wow whatever I like this Pete guy now…what he said isn’t lame even if you don’t think MJ is a pervert…i think there has been way to much media coverage on his death…i’m so over it and why is everyone so fascinated still? no one was even thinking about that guy for like 5 years

::yawn:: and I dont care what he did in his thriller days…he died a broke drug addict who wanted to leave his kids to a alcoholic…what?! LAME end of story. let’s move on.

  • Wendy- don’t listen to the haters.

This paparazzi nonsense is getting weird. What are they waiting for her to do? Nobody can live like that, it’s awful. I don’t want to see pictures of Debbie Rowe. Weird.

  • This is the most logical thing someone in the public light has about Michael Jackson since his death, that I’ve heard anyway.

Since when does saying you don’t think Michael Jackson was a great person warrant a comparison to a KKK member?

Embarrassment to this country? Exactly what point in that statement of opinion does he serve as an embarrassment? When he talked about how we should value servants such as firefighters, teachers, etc?

However controversial the child molestation charges are, nobody can deny that he was a weirdo drug addict, and that he had an abusive childhood, which I don’t think anybody should support and encourage.

I was disgusted by all the media coverage. I’m glad now that it’s gone down a little bit.
