Michael Jackson’s will was filed and there weren’t too many surprises. One thing that was unexpected is that Jackson named Diana Ross as the guardian of his children if his mother Katherine was unable to fulfill the obligation.
Ross seems like such an odd choice considering her age (65), as well as her documented struggle with alcohol addiction. Well, it would be an odd choice except for the fact that Michael Jackson was the decision maker. Therefore, it really was to be expected.
In other oddities, he claimed that his estate was worth $500,000,000. I’m assuming this number is pre-numerous lawsuits that have been pending against him.
Let’s hope that his kids can get settled and he can rest in peace. Though, like Elvis, I suspect that’s never going to happen.

Sorry mightie, but Donkey is partially correct. There’s no doubt that he abused at least one kid and probably a second, although his form of abuse may not have included sexual penetration. Regardless, he obviously had serious issues that seemed to include never growing older than about 10 years old mentally. Now…as far as his kids, I think they were abused in other ways, like having to walk around with face masks and being dangled off of balconies with a chance of falling and who knows what other issues they faced and will face later in life. The only people in the end that will truly miss Michael Jackson will be those that consider him their cash cow, except they’ll be way too busy counting all the cash to take time to thank him.

Let’s look at the money issue from both sides. If my child was molested by anyone there would not be enough money in the US Mint to pay me off because I would not want it.
