The family was caught shoplifting at a JC Penney, and then the mother claimed she was sexually harrassed and then they eventually settled out of court for a good amount of money. But you know what? There must be hidden evidence somewhere, right? The huge amount of detectives and investigators who were assigned to each case was just probably slacking off, despite interviewing over 200 people (none of whom said any inappropriate conduct occurred) and having over 70 investigators search MJ’s residences and coming up with nothing.

Kurt Cobain killed himself (debatable), so it is a different situation and therefore his death may have served as direct motivation for others to copy him. Suicidality includes death, attempts and ideation. There have been some studies which show that suicidal ideation rates increase dramatically when a celebrity dies, though completed suicides may not increase as much as you would think. Michale Jackson’s death might spur more research into the area.

I think everyone could be a little more conscientious (including me) of being tolerant of the human condition, a condition which we all have in common. We all suffer, we all feel pain, and we all feel the same range of human emotions. Everyone has their own personal demons, monsters and angels dwelling within themselves. If there are people out there who are inspired to take their own lives because Michael Jackson is now dead, then I am sure that they had a tremendous amount of suffering in their lives having little and nothing to do with Michael Jackson. Perhaps they felt they related to Michael Jackson because they too felt like an outcast and a stranger in life. Maybe they felt a kinship with him for this reason, and now that he is gone maybe they feel utterly and completely alone. That is one of the worst feelings anyone will ever have. Maybe instead of ridiculing these people, we should do something to make this world a little more tolerant of people who have extreme mental suffering. Perhaps this would help others not feel the need to take their own lives.
Of course child molestation is a despicable act that should be punishable by law. However, I do not think that any one of us can say with any amount of sensible backing that we know for sure whether or not MJ did commit this crime. The subject, of guilt or innocence for Michael Jackson will always be a difference of opinion to somebody. People that believe he was innocent, don’t really know what happened, he was tried by a jury, that’s all anybody can do legally. If you believe that he’s guilty..? it’s even harder to believe that he wasn’t being punished. What did you want him to do? Go to prison? His life “was” a prison. Have his money taken away from him? Technically he died broke! Have his children taken away from him? …..? psst! he’s…dead! There was no visible sign of an actual life for M.J.
