The Game, Chris Brown & P.Diddy Release Michael Jackson Tribute Track of Exceptional Quality

This debuted on L.A. radio Friday morning.

I’d like to write something about it, but I’m too busy deciding whether to laugh or vomit. So I’ll just let the song’s lyrics speak for themselves.

“The world is Michael Jackson.
I’m Michael Jackson.
You’re Michael Jackson.
We all Michael Jackson.”

< Insert vocal track of Chris Brown singing about some angels crying >

And I’m not sure, but at about 1:08 I think The Game is confessing that both he and Usher were molested.

  • hate chris brown, he should burn in hell

but i like the track, i think the vibe of how they feel the loss comes across

  • they call this music? gheeyyyyyyyyyyyyy and not in the homosexual way. ghey in the i’m-chris-brown-and-i’m-a-degenerate-for-hitting-woman(s) and i’m-p.-diddy-and-i-need-to-stay-relevant way.

  • sasha/wendy/misc white people:

you could opt to just say nothing about the song that you didn’t enjoy, but you made a choice to disparage it. so nauseating coming from yr team because you absolutely can not relate to what the artists are sharing.

MJ was part of their community, even as a very strange and controversial individual. the tune seems to be deeply meant to convey loss.

comments about chris brown don’t need to be tied to the MJ story.
making light of pedophilia or molestation is cool if yr talking about someone brown? not to mention if you weren’t in the middle of a mayo sandwich you’d understand what is said and know it doesn’t reference anything like that. you’ve never said any slick **** like that about anyone else on here.

really if you have such contempt for people of color isn’t it hypocritical to include them in yr posts at all. leave it to Bossip. stick to covering stories about Lindsay Lohan and that chic you call “ceiling eyes”.

    • I’m sick of people like you pulling the race card at every opportunity. It does us all a disservice. This post has nothing to do with race.

BTW, did you notice that there were recently a number of posts on here about an altercation between a white man and a black man? The majority of people here spoke in support of the black guy.

PS The only person here, making a racially derogatory remark is you.

    • wait. i thought Michael Jackson was white?

also.. it wasn’t Sasha or Wendie who wrote this…oh, I guess Kelly falls into “misc white people”.

she certainly doesn’t fall into having “contempt for people of color” though.. it was a bad song, plain and simple. maybe if they spent some time on it and really made it as a tribute to MJ it would have been a lot better.. instead of just trying to get the song out before anyone else… I’m sure when White Elton John releases his third Candle In the Wind for MJ she will have similar comments.

    • “really if you have such contempt for people of color”

      How’d you work that out?

    • You apparently haven’t noticed that this site is equal opportunity when it comes to diss… “color” has nothing to do with it.
The song is obviously rushed. To expect something better from people who are supposed to be “stars” in their own rite doesn’t seem that far fetched a notion.

Plus, things like references to “philantropy” doesn’t help me take them seriously. If your going to pay homage to the part of MJ’s life that were great, then for goodness sake use the word correctly. The man was involved in philanthropic activities… the word is philanthropy not philantropy… perhaps they could go down to “the wal marx” and buy a dictionary… maybe while they are at it they could pass onto you how to spell “your”… I digress…
No matter what they intended, them trying to find some relevance seems pretty accurate concerning this particular song.

Molestation is never taken lightly no matter what the color of your skin. It’s called sarcasm or irony if you prefer… the beater making a song praising the “miracles” of the child molester…
Sometimes a laugh is all you can do.

I too am sick of the race card… I’ve never discriminated against color… stupid however, is another story all together.
All colors are entitled to their opinion.

    • lol this comment is stupid. you might be the only one who ‘can relate to whate these “artists” are sharing’. This song was put out hastily (and done horribly)- and in my opinion they were taking advantage of what happened to cash in on some hype. like ‘oh snap! MJ died! that sucks.. hey! lets be the first to make a tribute!’.. yeah, it is an awful song and a shame that the first major tribute turned out to be so horrible. I have no idea where you got the race idea from. you, my friend, seem a little stupid.

    • and its not like kelly is the only person to dislike this song. geez, you should have seen the trending topics on twitter when this came out. people thought it was a joke. srsly.

    • I am multi racial and was born the same year as the Black Panther movement. I was raised around my 100%-all-hues-very-black-and-proud-family in Oakland CA. I was 6 and my first grade class sange ABC at an assembly at school. I was 13 when Off the Wall came out and it was one of the first albums I bought. I was 16 years old when Thriller and all the hits that followed came out. MJ was a huge part of my growing up and my community. I say all these things to qualify myself so I can say I think you are a racist idiot. Just because someone calls a spade a spade (ooooh another opportunity to go off on someone) doesn’t mean they are a racist. It just means the song sucks. And there are a whole camp of people out there – some of the black, or half black – that thinks Michael Jacson sucks too. Like me. Can’t get over someone not accepting themselves for who they are and molesting kids. Sorry.

      • Everybody responded to to tenantliason so well that I have nothing to say other than, “Nice job, guys.”

  • OH man this is why I read the comments so funny! LOL That eh hmm “special comment” was ridiculous but i think it’s already been made pretty clear…. but btw it’s good to know you think there’s teams…??? and your ashamed of your team? whose your opponent exactly?

This song was terrible and so obviously made to catch the current hype of distraught MJ fans. LAME

  • tenantliason:

Sorta Perez Hiltonish to use something like, oh, I don’t know, shared race, to make a slam, no?

    Gawd, the slime, it spreads….

    Someone please call an exterminator….

  • ?? Who are they calling the Young MJ @ 1:26 ? They’re not referring to Chris Brown are they??

  • Cash in why don’t you, Chris Brown and Diddy. It’s what MJ would have wanted.
Can I just ask tho, as an out of touch ‘misc white person’ when did Diddy get his P back? I thought he dropped it because it was coming between him and his fans. Perhaps you can answer that tenantliaison as you seem to be the spokesperson.

  • Doing the same thing he did when Biggie died, Puffy, or Diddy or whatever name he wants to call himself to convince himself that he’s somehow relevant, puts out a song exploiting the death of someone who actually has talent. Revolting and just further confirms how heartless and vacuous he really is. The other two just need to go away into the sunset and never come back. Or just shut up.

    • SOOOO fucking true. I hate Puff Daddy/Puffy/Diddy/P.DIddy/moron quite a bit. This comment hits the nail on the head.
