Britney Spears Is or Is Not Engaged

Three days ago, Star Magazine released an article claiming that Britney Spears became engaged to her agent, Jason Trawick, last month while the two vacationed in the Bahamas together.

“He didn’t exactly get down on one knee, but Brit didn’t care. She said yes, and they opened a bottle of champagne to celebrate,” says an insider. “Jason held Britney for a long time and kissed her cheeks. They talked about their future for hours and didn’t go to sleep until after 3 a.m.! They just wanted to be alone together.”

The article goes on to say that Britney is planning to wed in December when her Circus tour wraps, and  wants the wedding to look like a “fairytale”, not “trashy” like her previous two trips down the aisle.

Yesterday, People Magazine released an article refuting the rumors of engagement. Their source claims there is “no truth to it at all,” and “Britney is not engaged.”

So I guess you just have to compare and decide for yourself which magazine has more reputable reporting: Star or People? Which is a bit like comparing the relative safety levels of unprotected sex on an airplane that is crashing into a pile of white supremacist Ebola cobras and…. knitting.

  • People is one of the most reliable “tabloids”, I will take their word over any other, any day.

    • It’s not Beet, it’s some form of “impersonator” who thinks they are being funny or something. Sasha herself has commented on it, and they the EB clone personally attacked her.

    • The last joke was saying that comparing star to people is like comparing something very dangerous to knitting.

  • I know Beet can see people’s IP’s when they post so why doesn’t she log into the control panel of the website host and ban that IP. Even if it is a dynamic IP she could ban using a wild cards.

I doubt that person was smart enough to hide behind a proxy to mask their IP.

    • I hear you, but it probably does come from a dynamic IP, or they’d be banned already. Most website hosts don’t want to ban all dynamic IPs, because that locks a rather broad range of visitors out of the comments.

The real answer is that the imposter desperately needs to get a hobby.

      • If you use a wildcard in the last octet you are only banning a possible 256 people. If you use wildcards in the last two octets you are only banning a possibility of 65536 people. That sounds like a lot but generally you will only blocking a small amount of people generally all from the same ISP.

      • I didn’t know that, and that just might solve a problem my friend is having. Thanks for the advice.

(Athough,I can’t believe I’m taking advice from someone who call themselves “Donkey Punch”! Heh heh heh.)

  • I have viewed many hottest videos at a interracial singles dating site— black white mate . c o m.
—- many black and white singles who are seeking for ideal match seriously there..

  • Is he crazy? Who would want to marry a hot* zombie with a gazillion dollars? Oh, wait.
    * I don’t find her hot but I can see how the zombie part and the gazillion dollars would make her easier to fuck.

  • I smell a Gold Digger … and one her father has placed in her immediate circle. Nice…. way to go Dad.

I just hope she stays on her meds and skips another marriage to yet another loser who needs her to pay his bills.

Britney should look into hiring hire that manager/agent of Aniston’s to get her better dates. With men who can pay their own way.

For I do not blame that manager/agent for Aniston dating Mayer…. I blame her for that complete lapse in judgment. But he sure as h*ll got her hooked up with Bradley Cooper!

  • I would marry Brit even though it’s illegal in my state. I suppose that’s why she wakes up hella crazy everyday.
