While perusing photo sites today, I stumbled upon a set labeled “Kristen Stewart is a Smoker!” that contained several exclamation points and the above photos with nifty little red circles indicating the irrefutable evidence that Kristen Stewart is in fact one of the most horrible human beings ever to walk the planet. Forget about her terrible acting or the fact that she’s so stoned out of her mind at award shows it’s a miracle she hasn’t swallowed her own tongue yet. The bitch smokes!
I’m going to go ahead and preempt the idiotic maelstrom of “terrible role model” comments and E! Entertainment News pieces that will probably follow the publication of these photos and suggest she learn to pop prescription pills and starve herself or drink excessively and hop behind the wheel of her expensive car like most other “it” girl celebrities under 30.

Get it together Kristen.

  • I don’t think anyone considers her a role model…
    I mean compared to like the michael phelps weed scandal? Barely anyone noticed her smoking that bowl on the steps. It was kinda expected.

  • Ridiculously stupid post. A lot of stars smoke, including quite a few of the actors in the cast of New Moon. Just look at previous photos posted here on Evil Beet and you’ll see Kristen and others with cigarette in hand. It’s nothing new. So why is this a big deal at all? Kristen Stewart has no rap for being a role model. And to suggest that she start popping pills – even if doing so jokingly – is just lame.

  • why is smoking such a big deal?? i don’t get it.. there are so many people that smoke.. who cares!! it’s their decision.. I’m a non smoker but i will never make such a big deal out of it.. and as for those pot-smoking pictures: i still have strong doubts about them.. it kinda looks like her when you first look at them but then not so much.. i don’t know what to say.. this post has nothing new or interesting about it…

  • I agree that the whole movement to demonize all who smoke has gone way too far. Perez Hilton is a big one for lambasting celebs who smoke. Smoking is legal, it’s not a big deal. I don’t smoke myself and if I don’t want to be around smokers, I go to non-smoking bars. It’s just that simple.

    I get annoyed with those who wave their hands and make fake coughing noises when a cigarette is even mentioned in their vicinity. Really, chill out.

    And seriously, if one’s children are so in awe of celebs that this picture would make them smoke, I have to wonder about one’s parenting skills.

    Lastly, Stewart is interesting because she’s not the typical starlet but she’s kinda irritating at the same time. I don’t care if she’s stoned, I see nothing wrong with pot, but I do think her rebel without a clue act will probably stunt her career to the point that ten years from now she’ll be “That girl from Twilight.”

  • she IS making fun of the all the OMG! hype!!!!!!! that this boring actress smokes. However, I disagree that she’s not a role model or at least at risk of sending a bad message to her demographic which are largely tweens (yes, I know adults like twilight too but come on, its marketed for teenagers, tweens and young adults). Certainly having a cigarette is not the bad example that say, Paris or LaLohan’s behavior is, but that’s the downside of being a celebrity. I know Kristin Stewart is too cool to care about the celebrity thing but if you are going to accept the huge paycheck, freebies and perks of being an actress, you have to accept that paparazzi are going to be up in your grill all the time and that fans, especially young ones, take notice of things like smoking. It’s why celebrity endorsements are worth the cost. It also validates that smoking is a legitimate way to stay thin which is one reason why so many actresses and models smoke.

    She’s obviously pointing out that the PHOTO agency seems to think it’s a big deal kristen stewart smokes and that they’re way behind on the time.

  • I rarely get to upset over celebrities…why should I? I don’t know them. For some reason though I get upset when I see these photos of her…smoking…pot or cigarettes. I was a fan of her way before twilight and I like her better just being out of the media where she is exploited and I don’t have to lose respect for her…

  • Cancer sticks should be illegal. They were cool in the fifties/sixties (but only b/c most people were ignorant of the consequences). Anyone who smokes today, fully aware of the lung-rotting and sexual performance-killing consequences, are just plain idiots; as is Kristen.

    • ok, in which case, so should alcohol, high fatty foods and stress; as a nurse I’ve witnessed many more people die from alcohol abuse and bad diets than I have of smoking. 90% of lung cancers are caused by smoking but most of the cancers have the above listed as precipitating factors. Get your facts straight before you start ignorantly preaching

  • Wow- obviously a lot of people have never taken Intro to Sarcasm 101. Clearly Kelly was mocking some of the gossip sites that seek to destroy any star who smokes (ala perez hilton). Smoking is legal, if you don’t like it, don’t be around it. It is as simple as that- but I am really getting sick of people acting like someone who smokes is satan’s spawn! There are many more things someone could do that is so much worse. Maybe we should get on people who are seen with an alcoholic drink or an obese person chowing down. Live your own life and quit worrying about what others are doing.

  • I am sprised that anyone is suprised that she smokes. What gave it away for me the first time? her interview in Nylon Magazine- where they were like ‘Kristin Stewart is leaning against an LA building with one foot against the wall and a cigarette in hand”.

    I really liked her in ‘into the wild’. Twilight, not so much. They didn’t really pick a girl to fit the character… they are sort of fitting the character now to fit the girl.
