Mischa Barton Warns The General Public That She Has No Intention Of Dressing Decently

Oh, sweet Jesus.  Mischa Barton is now whining that people don’t like her fashion choices.  Um, duh.  Is she just now realizing that her Homeless Chic “style” looks ridiculous?

Mischa revealed that though her personal style is not always well received, she would not stop experimenting. A few years ago people thought I was nuts for wearing headbands and fringing, but things I have been into have kind of become more popular recently,” Contactmusic quoted Mischa, as saying.

“I grew up with pictures of Marianne Faithfull and Anita Pallenberg on my wall, they have always been my style. I am a weird replica of the 70s! But it is cool to see that it is back on trend,” she added.

The stunner also revealed that people in Britain are more accepting of her style, as American people tend to stick to a definite style and find people with different style to be a bit eccentric.

“What is nice about fashion in Britain is that you get to be more eccentric and a bit more yourself. In the States they don”t like it when you look too different,” Mischa said.

She also urged women to not to be shy to experiment with their own style.

“It is about experimenting by mixing and matching to develop your own look. You should try to wear something that embodies your sense of style. I think it is bad to wear head to toe all one look,” Mischa added.

Wait a minute.  Is Mischa Look What I Found In The Bottom Of The Dumpster Barton taking credit for the popularity of headbands?  Because if she is, I’ll personally pay to witness a smackdown with Olivia Newton John who was wearing that crap before Mischa was even hatched out of her martian pod.

  • She also has her decades wrong. The 60’s were the hey day for both of her icons, not the 70’s. She’s a retard. A styless retard. I wish she would just go away. Headbands and all.

  • This outfit in particular looks very much like something my daughter put together when she was 4.
She was just as proud of her fashion sense as Mischa seems to be.

  • That top she’s wearing would look great with a pair of black skinny jeans, and DEAR GOD ANYTHING BUT THOSE BROWN THINGS SHE KEEPS ON PUTTING ON HER FEET.

Those shorts are totally iredeemable and those tights should never be worn with anything other than a dress. A black dress, preferably.

I don’t much care for her fashion sense though. I just think there’s something wrong with her face.

    • It seems to be an excellent example of just how deranged her fashion sense is. Surely it doesn’t get any worse. Please tell me it doesn’t get any worse.

  • Wendie, I thought it should read; Mischa “Look what I found in the bottom of the dumpster” Barton. I know it’s probably super lame of me to get all grammar police on you for this. Maybe I am wrong- in which case I blame all of my English writing professors in college. I do enjoy your posts, so don’t take this as an attack!!!

    • Mischa “Look-What-I-Found-In-The-Bottom-Of-The-Dumpster” Barton, yeah.
At first I was thinking the middle part would read “Look-What-I-Found-In-The-Bottom-Of-The-Dumpster”, but I don’t think that’s right, unless you took away the quotes.

  • Are those shorts velvet? If they’re not — if they’re silk, satin, something normal — I like her outfit just fine.
    But if they’re velvet…oh lord.

  • i’m not really looking to defend mischa barton, but –

i think her point is that she was the one who brought headbands BACK into fashion, (even if one might dispute that fact that they are in fashion) not that she invented the look.

and even if she has messed up the years, i do appreciate that she’s giving marianne faithfull and anita pallenberg some dap. most people her age have no idea who those women are.

  • Obviously I’m new.
Don’t like Mischa, actually can’t stand her. But the running trend here seems to be that you hate all celebrities. So why do you do this? Is it just entertaining? (I admit it is.) Is it just fun to insult the very many celebrities you don’t like?
Honest questions. Though apparently you said I’m allowed to insult you, I’m not, in any way.

  • The thing is she can wear almost anything and still look good because
she’s beautiful and the haters on here take away your jealousy then comment
