Chris Brown: I Ain’t A Monster And Bloggers Lie

Chris Brown has a homemade video up on YouTube.  I don’t really know what he says.  He hasn’t yet learned about the power of a verbal pause.  I think the general message that he wanted to get out was that hedoesn’tnormallymakevideosbuthewantedtosay’hi’andhe’sworkingonanewalbumandhe’snotamonster.  Yo.

If you’re looking for the unedited and entirely fascinating ten minute video of Chris Brown and Bow Wow bowling and talking about how much bloggers lie, click here.

And since Chris Brown thinks bloggers lie so much, I’d like to live up to his expectations (you know how I hate to disappoint.):  Chris Brown has a lengthy and successful career ahead of him.

  • I thought this guy would be shakin more than M. J. Fox, but he’s an arrogant little shit.

  • Hello… he pauses alot… what are you talking about?
Maybe you just speak slowly. :s
I’m from Trinidad, and trust me, we speak WAY faster than that.

  • I had no idea he was so illiterate! You ain’ no monster? Yes, yes you iz. Asshat. He was always marginal and kind of a doof in sweaters, he got work and respect because he was with a powerhouse star, who he punched repeatedly and bit several times. I want to know who’s going to buy, or download this pussy’s so called music – you’d have to be incredibly stupid. He doesn’t deserve a music career, he does deserve to be asking “would you like fries with that” I that’s about all he has to offer the world.

Interesting story, Puff doody was at the Lakers game, and he was put up on the Jumbotron, where he was loudly boo’d for several minutes, that’s another tough guy defender who appeared to be frightened by the negative reaction of the crowd. You defend this pathetic excuse for a man and people won’t support your over the top lifestyle anymore. I think Poof doody is done too.

  • I see why you guys have animosity against this child still… (Yes, I called him a child because he is still very immature) but I disagree with your assumption that his career is over. His fans still love him… I doubt many of you who commented was ever a fan of his to begin with so you claiming his career is over doesnt really hold merit. <— This doesn’t necessarily mean that I am a fan of his but I doubt everyone will turn their backs on him like you assume they will.

I will continue to argue that their is a double standard in our society when it comes to domestic issues like what he and Rhianna went through.

  • I definitely don’t think he’s a monster. I think he’s a baby with anger issues. I think that he got away with smacking his girlfriend around for a long time and so he figured he’d never have to worry about it. I also think that this could be his ‘catalyst for change’, if you will. He is just a child. This could turn it all around for him.

Even aside from any personal bullshit, I’m a fan of his music. That has nothing to do with his personal life. I’ll still *ahem* buy his new album and any in the future. He’s a talented guy. Being arrogant (if that’s the word you choose) has nothing to do with that.

Look at how many people still like Kanye West, Tom Cruise, Sean Penn, Mel Gibson and many others despite their somewhat questionable personal decisions. That’s still marginally separate from anything they do career-wise.

He still has plenty ahead of him.

  • “Look at how many people still like Kanye West, Tom Cruise, Sean Penn, Mel Gibson and many others despite their somewhat questionable personal decisions.”

How many of those guys like to beat the crap out of women and leave them for dead?

  • Kid’s an asshole. Plain and simple. He beat the shit out of some one and so far it looks like he’s getting away with it. He comes across as a thug because he is one.

  • I’m thinking Chris “I’m getting away with it, like OJ” Brown and Kanye West should start a book club.

  • Chris Brown. Just another trivia question about 2 years from now. Good riddance, fucker!
