Kate Gosselin Fired Forty

Us Weekly continues on its endless stream of Gosselingate stories with new “revelations” that Kate Gosselin is a difficult employer.  No kidding.

Baby nurse Angela Krall took care of the sextuplets for over a year during their infancy.  And because everyone except the Gosselin’s dry cleaner (and come to think of it, he probably has sent Jon Gosselin’s pants out for DNA testing) is granting interviews, Krall had lots to say about Kate and what a controlling shrew she is.

According to the caretaker, prior to being employed by the Gosselins Kate had fired forty nurses and assistant nurses in a three-month span of time.  She also applied for extended Medicaid benefits to pay Krall’s salary since Jon was unemployed and they hadn’t landed their TLC deal yet.  “Kate Gosselin said she feels society has a responsibility to help with the children, since modern medicine promotes the use of fertility drugs, which can lead to multiple births.”

The nurse also states that Kate had condescending signs posted in every room and flipped out when employees “cross-contaminated” by washing their hands in the kitchen instead of the bathroom.

The ex-employee also shares what happened that led to Kate being estranged from her father.  When Kate was pregnant her dad, pastor Kenton Kreider, gave her cribs that were donated from parishioners.  Gosselin rejected them because she wanted six matching cribs and this caused a rift.

Kate is a controlling, neat-freak who can’t hold onto help and has spent twenty-one of the last thirty days on a book tour while Jon has been at home with a twentysomething eight kids.  How much longer until People snags the “Split!” cover?

  • Hey, “Jon and Kate”- When are you going to Pay back the state Of Pa for all the Hundreds of Thousands of Dollers that they paid to bring your Miricales into the world”- from a Taxpayer in Pa that helped to fund “Your litter”

    • is there any way we could bring this to the attention to the state of PA to force them to repay all of the “love offerings” given to the gosselins? in light of all of the very hardworking parents who bring home about 1/3 of what kate gets for ONE EPISODE of her horrible show OR the families who have one or both been laid off, the state could really use that money given to that lecherous woman. maybe we could get a petition going and offer it to the governor of PA and wake him up to kate’s manipulation and basically THEFT of a whole lot of money that belongs to the citizens that really need it.

    • Excuse me Jacquie Skadeland Go screw yourself. Who are YOU to go against what was intended my God and the workings of fate. These beautiful children could one day save your life. Through the powers of jesus.

      Amen,
      Savon

    • Excuse me Jacquie Skadeland. I dont know who you think you are…but you should really consider screwing yourself. If you are so stupid enouph to even think that god hadnt intended theses beautufl children, or angles to come into this world, you are wrong and a terrible person. They might save you life one day..than you wouldnt think they were such an expensive mistake.

Through the power of Jesus Christ Amen

  • Pretty sure that “Kate is a controlling psycho!” isn’t exactly a newsflash to… well, anyone, really.

    • Uhm, I don’t think Kate’s trying to sell the “smart” angle (not quite sure why you put that in quotations).. I think she’s trying to sell the fertile angle

    • Or… you know, it’s because she has eight kids, and they’re all due to the “miracle” of modern science – hence the “blessings/bles8ings” reference. Good Lord, someone actually had to explain that one?

And that was just me jumping on the “quotations” bandwagon.

  • I am looking and see Jon’s name as an author too. It’s not like he doesn’t benefit from all these deals. I hate it when he justifies “but I never went out in my 20’s..” well neither did she. Why is it always her fault?

      • Oh, good it’s not just me. I hate her ridiculous ‘do. I want to slap that chunk of hair out of her face. I only have 1 kid and I don’t waste abunch of time on my hair, just pull back in a ponytail. Even though that do is hideous it obviously takes time to look that stupid.

      • At least she doesn’t have the same boring haircut like everyone else on this planet. Everyone wants to complain when people imitate each other, but when someone tries to look different, everyone still complains. What is that about? Either way, I honestly don’t think she is trying to please you kungfumama or anyone else who doesn’t like her haircut for that matter.

In order for the show to survive, Mediaweek’s Berman says the Gosselins need to be upfront with the audience.

“They’re now a celebrity couple,” says Berman. “The emphasis of the show has changed, and they need to address how they’ve evolved.”

“If they don’t evolve the show, I think the audience is going to be upset,”

    • They didn’t get their dogs for free, they bought them from a breeder and the proceeds went to a local cancer patient.

…I hate myself for knowing that.

      • What happened with the dogs anyway? If she freaked at someone washing their hands at the kitchen sink and fired her, what did she do when one of the dogs pooped in the house? String him up?

  • According to the caretaker, prior to being employed by the Gosselins Kate had fired forty nurses and assistant nurses in a three-month span of time. • Kate, who grew up in a trailer park and didn’t go on her first airplane ride until her honeymoon to Disney World, now flies only first class for speaking engagements (mostly paid for by churches), sells signed photos of her kids for $20 a pop at appearances, and received a free tummy tuck after giving birth (Jon received a free hair transplant). A family source says while pregnant with the sextuplets, she grew “obsessed” with how many goodies the famed McCaughey septuplets received in 1997

  • I’ve seen the show 2 or 3 times. Cute kids; even-tempered, thick-skinned dad; mom that needs to be Medicated. Shes a Classic “Born again Christian” Judjmental and Unkind—Princess Kate directs a withering assault of sarcasm and ridicule on Jon, who basically takes it in stride. Man’s a saint. You have to admire the poor guy. Have to feel sorry for him too. Stuck with a belittling, mocking, Money Hungry princes-B_.

    • I like that you can watch a tv show several times and are already ready to make a diagnosis. seems fair.

      • He or she is right though. Good synopsis. I have decided to boycott the show and not watch it. That greedy little witch doesn’t deserve anymore, esp. after that Medicaid comment. She would think she is deserving. What a witch!

  • As far as Mady goes, they had better try to do something with her now (it might be too late). They blame her Psychotic behavior on “low blood sugar” but the little girl is just plain Evil. She really does not like the little kids and I’m tired of seeing her kick them or mistreat them. Maybe they should get out of show business….it’s not for them. Oh , Wait- They need more…. M-O-N-E-Y !

  • hear that Octomom is planning on moving next door Hurry up Kate Your fame is running out quick!

  • To the people who think that J&K may be over the top and ‘who wouldn’t be?’ I say — I wouldn’t be. I successfully raised 10 children within 12 years of age without immasculating my husband on camera, ridiculing my children & my partner in life, AND did it in a Christian household. I didn’t simply tell everyone I was doing these things like going to church or living a certain lifestyle – I actually did the things I said I did — very unlike the Gosselin family! As for them making money off the show because they deserve it? Why, do you think they or anyone else DESERVE it? These children deserve to be paid for giving up their childhoods, for being in front of cameras for most of their childhoods, and for being exploited for their parent’s gain, but sadly no laws exist in PA to protect their earnings and according to a recent interview Kate did in prep for an upcoming Detroit appearance ‘they’ll get a college education.” ” Period!” NICE! The kids worked for how many hours, for how many years and all J&K will guarantee them is money for college while they splurged on a $1.3 million house, drive sports cars (multiple), take expensive vacations (not the ones filmed for the show), ski trips, spa visits, etc, etc, etc. Yes, the kids got a nanny out of the deal. Possibly better parenting than they’d get from their parents. You say the parents were hard working before all the kids and all they’re doing is trying to survive? You’re kidding, right? Jon QUIT his job before the babies were born so he could stay with Kate while she was in the hospital, was fired from 2 others, and Kate refused to work 1 day a week to provide income for her family just so she could stay at home. All these 2 lazy, greedy, narcissistic excuses for parents need to do is get ‘regular’ jobs and parent their children like the rest of us do. My kids never did without. Their dad worked from 7-6 and the joy of the kids’ days was watching for his car to round the corner and we could sit down as a family to have dinner. We got no special treatment, no freebies, did our own hand-me-downs, took vacations, introduced our kids to different cultures, lifestyles, history, nature, our nation, and taught them to love and respect themselves and each other all within a tight budget. Today, I’m proud to say that I have 10 children who are college graduates who are fortunate to be employed in rewarding careers and are thinking of starting families of their own. Please don’t insult the millions of people who have their eyes open and who recognize the Gosselin situation for what it really is – child exploitation for the parent’s profit, narcissistic parents, longstanding, escalating discord in their marriage, emotional and educational concerns with some of the children, and far, far from the realistic family that started with TLC 4 years ago. Time has long passed for the show to end, for J&K to devote their time and energies to their marriage and their children, and to return to the faith they say is/was so important to them – as it is glaringly obvious to everyone who watches their show or reads about their troubles that their family is in serious need of intervention and change. • About the crib thing…

I have little kids, too, and all of the baby books put the fear of God into you about accepting used cribs because they might not meet current safety standards. Another consideration is that cribs are regularly chewed, vomited, and shat on.

If she turned down used cribs, it *may* have been more for those reasons and less about matching. I know that I would have turned down a free used crib, both for safety and cleanliness reasons.

  • Last week’s issue of People Magazine was the first glimpse of the “poor poor me” edition of Kate. She seems to be gearing up for the new improved single Kate who was wronged by the irresponsible cheating selfish Jon. If she doesn’t have Jon to beat up, I suspect that viewers will not be as enthralled. I think we watch this show in part to see just how big of a biotch Kate can be.

  • “Kate Gosselin said she feels society has a responsibility to help with the children, since modern medicine promotes the use of fertility drugs, which can lead to multiple births.”

Really Kate? The rest of the world should pay you their money that they earned because you had a lot of kids? Right…

  • I’ve never watched an entire episode of this show.
I don’t understand why giving birth to 8 children somehow makes you interesting or knowledgeable about anything other than how to take care of 8 children. Since I don’t have 8 children, nothing Kate or Jon has to say is of any interest to me.
I don’t care if they have a lot of money, how they spend it or how they conduct their lives.
And I don’t really see why anyone else cares.

    • I discovered the show after I’d given birth to my son. He was one of those babies that hated being a baby. He let us know by crying for a year and half. He’s gotten over that now, but at the time I felt completely overwhelmed. Watching their show made me feel better about the fact that I only had one baby to deal with, instead of eight.
I’m one of those horrible people who sees someone else’s misery and thinks, “Hey, at least I’m better off than that.”
I suspect I’m not the only one.

  • “We stay in love with the other person by the way they make us feel when we are with them”.. being respectful and considerate

  • This is not news, I have been expressing my opinion about this woman and how awful she is and how she is using the children for her income…but when I said it people were telling me I was being over critical…Can I say now I TOLD YOU SO! I use to watch the show and saw her treatment towards her husband…and I see now the interview about continuing the show and she want’s to (since it’s the only income) and Jon want’s to stop. Like I said before and I will say it again, she only cares about money and she really doesn’t care who she steps on. She has really changed over the years. Why not give some of the money she is making back to the tax payers that help her keep her family afloat during their “hardtimes” I don’t see that happening…she would rather spend the money on the million dollar home the kids bought for them…Once Again! I called this several years ago and no one wanted to listen to me!

  • Why is this special? She *chose* to have multiple births via fertility drugs this wasn’t a “natural” miracle. And why is it only white people having these multiple births and being celebrated for it? If there was a woman of color with this many children, not working, and expecting handouts from the government and other organizations, people would not be watching her on tv nor buying her book or feeling bad for them with that many mouths to feed. Shame on all the people who watch the show to give it ratings, buy the rags to sell tabloid publicity for this fame whoring couple, and buy her book which contributes to her air of entitlement.

And to the person who commented that cribs are contaminated with bodily fluids? Sure they are, as are most things babies use. Did you throw away every onsie after it was spit up on or eschew hand-me-downs? No you washed them the same way you could with a crib. Bleach water is a miracle solution. The safety issue of a crib might be another thing but babies used to survive without wipe warmers and sleeping in drawers.

I suspect Octomom expected to be the next Jon and Kate plus eight and for the swag to start rolling in since she has even more kids and is doing it alone. Time to stop the gravy train on multiple births, we are already overpopulated and a drain on the planet with the current system of unequally distributed resources!

  • Yeah…Kate is a narcissistic harpy. And her haircut is the dumbest cut I have ever seen.

  • Clear from the very start that theres smth fishy about that. A bitch like her “marries” an Asian guy and she doesnt want to stop after the 1st pair of twins, but goes on. The rest is history… The victims, of course, are the kids, they are always in the middle. Its fashionable to have twins, more than 2 if possible, put some cameras in ur house and heres the show for the sheeple. TRULY, ITS ONE FOR THE MONEY, 2 FOR THE SHOW!

    • …I honestly tried to understand what you said here, but it makes no sense. How is it fishy that a “bitch like” Kate “marries” an Asian guy? The quotation marks imply sarcasm, which implies that they were not actually married, which… is wrong. And there are plenty of people who have children (multiples, even) and still want to have more after.

  • i don’t think the world would mourn this woman if she had a freak accident and died.

  • Ok, her hair has a life of its own but what the f is up with that phoney ass smile of hers?
Go away you heartless idiot, you’re not cute, you’re not funny, and you have no class
    Grow a soul

  • Well, now I know where OctoMom got the idea that the taxpayers should help support HER choice to have children in litters. She wastched Jon and Kate. Only instead of having a husband to scream at and emasculate, she does it to her parents.

Nice role model Kate. The California Taxpayers thank you.

  • I can honestly say from watching the episodes Kate has slowly more and more shown a different side. the Camera’s want us to see what they want us to see, but you can’t hide the truth. This Mommy is all about her own fame. She’s so rude now on the show. Hope she saves that money, because she has lost a huge following of moms hoping she cared more about her kids than her own personal gain. I don’t blame Jon for moving on while he can shes a b—-h to him on the show you can tell there is no respect there.

  • I can’t stand this woman .. the last straw for me was the episode when they got the dogs and she made the comment. “He made me pay for the dogs but then I found out that litter went to charity so i felt alright about it.” Paraphrased but that’s the gyst. When you become so use to getting things for free you’re offended when someone whose lively hood is what you want and ask for payment .. you need help.

How are these kids going to feel when they’re 18 and their friends see reruns on how mom took pictures of their first poops in the potty? What next a whole episode on the twins shopping for bras in a few years I bed phedophiles will love that.

Personally I am a John and kid fan, I hope he does find his freedom and gets joint custody if not full custody of the kids. She is so self righteous ..there needs to be laws to protect reality kids from greedy mothers.

And for all the comments about neither of them working when the babies were born can I point out that John has had a job since I started watching the show despite the money that is being pulled in.

As for the affair if he had one so be it but a photograph of him in a car with a girl isn’t proof and a brother who wants his name out there saying it happened doesn’t convince me.

That said too there’s no proof Kate has either. .. but her halo has never glowed brighter in the couch interviews but John has grown horns.

I have to give John kudos even with all of this he does not tear her down on that couch.

  • John’s classy behavior on the show will reap kudos from his children in the years to come. By his refusing to tear Kate down, even though she has no problem in doing so to him, will gain him the respect of his kids forever. This may take a few years to occur so patience is required of him. He has not fallen into the trap of reality TV…give us ratings at all cost…even that of your integrity…sorry Kate…that was the last thing you should have sold anyone.
