Hmmm… I have a teenage daughter and I stopped asking about the biker shorts under the dress about the time she stopped having recess on the playground. It is a sad sad time when we have to ask our teenagers to lift their skirts so that we can make sure they are wearing undies. I guess that’s one of the perks with the guys wearing their pants around their thighs – we never need to ask.

I’m surprised the school didn’t recall all of the yearbooks to cover their asses. I mean, she’s a junior so she must be 16 or 17 years old. as a 2 year editor-in-chief for a high school yearbook i can’t imagine this not being caught in the proofs.
however a simple peel and stick picture replacement could be printed much more quickly and cost efficiently rather than taking back and reprinting all of the yearbook, which is absurd to even suggest.
I think it would have been wise of the student to wear PANTS during the interview. Instead she wore that dress thing with her legs apart and under her. Hopefully she decided to wear underwear for the interview.
Unless they plan to sue the news station too.
I always run to the media to spread the word about every embarrassing photo I have taken of myself too…that way no one at highschool notices.

She could have:
a) worn regular underwear, dealt with VPL
b) worn a thong
c) not sat in the front row
d) sat in the front row, but with legs crossed
e) NOT RUN SCREAMING TO THE MEDIA
well, if she crossed her legs, her “dress” would have been up so high her ass would have been showing. best to just keep her legs clamped together.

I’m going to my nephew’s grad, and i’ve been trying to find a dress or something to wear, cus i don’t wanna embarass him of course, i should wear something nice.. And holy shit! you should see the kind of dresses and shoes they have out there for the grads!… I am completely shocked.. Stripper shoes! i swear to God, those plastic plataform shoes, clear heels and all that kind of stuff.. What I don’t get is how the mother says she’s mad that the principal of the school (who said he doesn’t want to “exploit her daughter”) for still handing out the yearbook pictures, and yet she and her daughter are going on national television to talk about the story. How is that not exploiting your daughter? I mean sure, the daughter may have wanted to do it, but still, if it’s that embarrassing, don’t go on national television and talk about it.
It is absolutely gross for anyone man or woman to to run around without underwear. There are a lot of people who have not mastered the proper use of toilet paper. The last thing I want is to sit in a chair with someone else’s bodily fluids and crap might still be on. Atleast with underwear there is a buffer there. That is so gross.
