Wow, this is a very personal interview. You’ll recall that in the early seasons of Jon & Kate Plus 8, Aunt Jodi and Uncle Kevin were a big part of the family’s life. Then they suddenly disappeared, and rumors swirled — confirmed by Jodi’s sister — that the production company had tried to pay Jodi for all her time on the show, and Kate freaked out and kicked the couple out of their lives.
Now Kevin and Jodi are speaking out! They’re confirming that Jon & Kate really do fight constantly, that they believe the rumors than Kate is cheating too, and they’re siding with Jon — even though Kevin is Kate’s blood relative! WOW!!!
They say that Jon & Kate fought so much that the production crew would struggle to find 15 minutes of usable footage after eight hours of filming, and that some of the crew actually had moral issues with the fact that they were promoting this horrible couple as the perfect family. WOW! WOW! WOW!!!!
The marriage of Jon and Kate Gosselin is “over”, Kate’s brother Kevin Krieder and his wife Jodi say in an explosive new video interview, only on RadarOnline.com.
On the stunning video, Kevin Krieder, 32, says “Six months ago Kate came to Jon and said, ‘Hey, it’s over.'”
As RadarOnline.com recently reported, Jon has been having an extramarital affair with a third grade school teacher, Deanna Hummell. Kate is rumored to be cheating with her bodyguard Steve Neild.
Both Jon and Kate have denied having affairs. Kate’s bodyguard and Deanna Hummell have also denied the affairs.
Kevin’s wife Jodi says everyone ignored the problems in the marriage to keep the show’s ratings high. She says: “The show is not reality, and has not been for a long time. This is a train wreck.”
Kevin adds: “Their family is in shambles.”
Jodi and Kevin gave their only print interview to Star magazine, and in a cover story this week, they say the marriage is now governed by a secret contract. They reveal details of that contract in Star’s interview.
Kevin says both Jon and Kate need to give up the fame and fortune in order to save their marriage while Jodi says a divorce would affect the children terribly.
In the Star magazine interview, she explains how she believes Kate is exploiting the kids and how badly it’s affecting them.

I’m sorry, but I was a video student at the Art Institute of Seattle (which I understand doesn’t make me an expert, but whatever) and no way was it a struggle to get 15 minutes out of 8 hours of footage. Seriously. Those people don’t know what they’re talking about. At the very least, they’d use it as b-roll and just dub over it with an inlay. Seriously. WTF!?
Im sorry im not a video student in any way but i just dont understand. If they are constantly fighting through the 8 hours of filming how would you suggest they just magically come up with footage good enough for a telivision show? im not sure about what “use it as b-roll and just dub over it with an inlay” means but i just feel like if they were fighting all the time it would be a very difficult task to find enough footage of them acting happy go lucky…
I was planning on going there!! For photography, but then I decided that I’d never make it as a photographer. I’m still going there if I decide to become a chef though.

I think you should have your own show actually that is dedicated to gossip about them. I used to love the show but the gossip is so much better and more interesting than the show.
Is is, actually! If RealNetworks was trying to be smooth about it, they wouldn’t have put that giant blue logo on their building (as to avoid us stalkers, I guess). It’s a great location to have work/school at, though, because Pike Place is close enough to walk to on lunch break or whatever; I’m specifically thinking about Pike Place Market Bagel, because that place is ridiculously good.
Yeayea, yes, it is made more difficult if the on-screen talent is fighting, but there’s no way that it’s difficult to pull 15 minutes out of 8 hours of tape! Think of it this way. If someone was to film you throughout the day doing whatever you would normally do, there would definitely be a lot of really boring parts that no one would want to watch. An easy way to make that footage work, is to lay down a new audio track over that footage that contains your voice talking about a subject that might relate to it, and then piece footage of you doing that throughout the day together by splicing in footage of you doing an on-camera interview that you could do at any other time. It’s a pretty standard technique, but regardless, I find it really hard to believe what that couple is saying.
I call bullshit. I’m not saying that they are or aren’t cheating on each other, because there is no way for any of us, really, to have that kind of insight into their relationship. But I’ve always kind of thought Jodi famewhored after their “split”, and I think all she and her husband are doing now are trying to bask in the limelight.
How would they even know? All sources point to an estrangement between these parts of the family. Are other relatives passing information along to them? If so, what’s stopping the other relatives from piping up themselves, on either side?
It makes me sick, all the crap these poor children will have to deal with when they’re older, and it’s almost unfathomable that their “loving” aunt and uncle have no problem adding to this stupid mess.
Seriously. They say there is a ‘secret contract’. If it’s so secret, then how do they know about it?
(Okay, yeah, I get that they’re claiming Jon told them this himself, but… BULLSHIT. Why would he choose to tell his brother-in-law and his wife about the troubles with his marriage, especially considering how Jodi famewhored last year?)
Also, that 15 minutes of usable footage? Seriously. I figure they’re not the perfect couple (I actually think Kate is something of a flat-out hag), but I also don’t take them for ridiculously STUPID people… behaving in a bad manner continuously in front of their children is one thing, but behaving as such in front of cameras (and camera operators) would be incredibly moronic, when one considers how easy it would be for a “morally upset” crew member to call in children and youth services and use the footage as proof to have the Gosslings ganked.
Shame on both of you for doing this, your behavior is deplorable and I can’t believe you would do this to your sister especially at a time like this. A tad jealous it seems? Kate has enough to deal with a cheating husband and her 8 little ones to take care of and plan a future for all on her own basically. If he wanted out of the marriage and his responsibilities then there are better ways to do it rather than publically humiliating Kate and his children. Again all I can say is I think you both are deplorable.

If people didn’t like to watch it, they wouldn’t be watching it, and then we wouldn’t all have to talk about what could possibly be happening with their social lives.
If I had 8 kids to raise, and someone offered me a show to do it, I would consider it. Just so my family could be financially stable. I don’t see why people think that this is SO insane. Because of this show, the kids all well taken care of, and they will probably (hopefully) all be able to go to college and stuff with the money earned. Without the show, they would still be struggling.
Haven’t you heard Kate say that their show is the hardest job they have ever had, with all the promoting that they have to do for it and meetings they have to schedule oh yes and most strenuously the kids they have to raise on the side.

Catholics against divorce my butt, I was married for 27 years and have 4 grown kids from that man and he got the marriage annulled. No affairs, no drugs or drinking, just grew apart. All it takes is $$$

Why is it so hard to understand that a little bit of fame breeds crazy behavior. Just look at anyone who has been on any of the so call “reality shows”. A prime example is those two idiots Heidi and Spencer. Who have no talent yet manage to have a career out of whoring for the camera’s in LA.
Now we have a ambitious Mother of 8… (who has a slight anger management issue…) who has a weekly TV show.
Said TV show now shows multiple repeats weekly. She is now a “brand”. Now she is writing books and continues to accept cash “gifts” from churches national wide for her “insights”.
She is now addicted to the fame she has encounter and likes it. And is playing it out for all its worth. But you can not be this ambitious and keep friends. She is not about to share the spotlight with anyone, willingly. She continues to take cash gifts when there is no need to. She has ran off all family members. She is famous now why keep the little people around? Pfft! She is the star!
Sadly this Mother of 8, is no different that our girl Lindsay Lohan. They like the fame… the money and the freebies. And they both lost sight where they came from and now exist in some bizarre place in their own little world. I see no difference between them now. They both want to be center of attention at all times and get paid for it.
Just added thought… of course there is a iron clad contract with TLC. TLC has dumped tons of time and cash into this little family. And they are desperate for the family to be sell-able. Nice clean cut normal family that just happens to have 8 kids. Good clean fun. GOod grief they are selling the show on DVD’s. This is a money maker and they now have their parents caught out looking like fools with questionable moral decisions.
Time to get the spin doctors in and stop this free fall…. I fully expect to see a sit down interview with one of the major networks shortly. With all new footage of how wonderful they really are to each other…
Please stop covering this story. Sure, the Gosselins made the decision to allow America into their home by agreeing to make this show. But by publicizing their issues, you’re contributing nothing good to this world, let alone to their future as a family.
I don’t know if you’ll take this message with any weight, but even if you continue to cover the story, do so with awareness of your impact on the lives of (hate to say it) innocent children. When it comes down to it, even though you may think this is just a regular gossip site, what you say influences how many people think of the Gosselin family. It comes down to your ethics.

i believe jodi and kevin…. they were a big part of the 8 kids lifes and they would see the good, bad and ugly. They’re more believable than kate or jon.

I think this is a crock for these two to get paid for knowing Jon and Kate. No family is the ‘perfect family’ and with eight kids, you are simply bound to fight more than your average nuclear family.
No family is the perfect family. In fact, i had a crap family in a lot of ways. but we had 7 kids and did not fight more than the average family. in fact, out of my friends families, mine is almost the only one where my parents are still happily married after 39 years.
Of course, what we see on TLC is edited to show what they want. they might fight more than average, or TLC might just show those parts.
IMHO, though, Kate is a biatch to Jon and I wouldn’t be surprised if the marriage was a sham.

I don’t know if I’m the only one thinking this… but with all those kids around, I’m actually amazed they actually HAVE time to cheat on each other.
Well in an episode where they answered questions from fans, a lot of people wrote in asking about when they make time for sex. At first Kate said that she wasn’t going to answer it, but then she said “They do sleep, people!”.
So I guess that’s when they’d have time. haha

You know, in more recent interviews, it sounded like Kate totally knew about Jon’s affair — it’s the embarrassment factor that has sent her into total damage control mode. I kind of doubt she was seeing her own bodyguard though (also, they have bodyguards?).
Why do people not recognize that raising 8 kids takes a whole lot of $$$. If I was Kate I would do what it take to financially provide for my family. This was something that her and Jon agreed to and he just got sick of it. If they wouldn’t have done this show he would not be driving around in his little non kid friendly sports car!
Kate is a survivor in the poor economic time! Her kids are healthy and happy and she has to be a bitch sometimes to keep order, otherwise the kids would rule her house! Some people can’t handle one or two kids let alone 8!!!!!

Kate has been getting hand outs from people since the babies were born. The state paid for full time nurse for over a year, she begged the governor to give Jon a job, people at her Dad’s church donated cribs (which she didnt keep b/c the didnt all MATCH) She is a money grubbing ho-oor and now she’s getting what she deserves. She treats everyone badly, not just Jon although he gets the worst of it. She has not contact with her family b/c of her bad behavior – Kevin and Jodi were the lone family members that were part of the circle but Kate’s greed and narcissism ended that. She is a greedy, mean spirited SHREW. She goes to churches to speak and takes donations – people they get $50k an episode plus all kinds of freebies from sponsers do the MATH!! They should have more than enough $$ for the kids futures now……GIMME a BREAK. I’m not excusing Jon but it’s clear that she’s the boss of everyone and he is just a pawn in her selfish game
I have been a fan of the show from day one and from what I have witnessed, that family would be in shambles if it were not for Kate. From day one, Jon has appeared to be more like a teenager than a partner and father of 8. Maybe if he would put forth more effort into raising his children versus all of his “hobbies,” Kate would not be viewed as such a “shrew” as someone graciously noted. How quickly everyone seems to forget that Kate is the one who stayed home with the kids thru the week as well as worked every Saturday. How quickly evryone forgets that she was a stay at home Mom for the better part of the kids lives while Jon went to work and openly admitted that he preferred it that way. He came home every night to a clean house with a home cooked meal on the table and yet she is thrown under the bus because she tries to mantain order in a household with 8 kids. Yes, there were days when she was cranky and tired but she is human and has never claimed to be anything BUT!
As for Jodie and Kevin…give me a break. They should be ashamed of themselves. How tacky are they? How would they feel if Jon or Kate said horrible things about them and their personal lives so that their children could someday read about it? They obviously don’t care about their nieces and nephews very much or they are just that trashy! I think Kate must have made you mad when you gave them bubble gum and she called you an idiot. Seems like you are trying to get back at Kate. It seems to me that you have someone fell off the wagon when in came to the amount of exposure you have recieved on the show. You didn’t push cameras out of your face nor did you deny them from coming into your own home. The best oppurtunity you could give yourselves for more exposure is to debunk your family.
If you had concerns and you addressed them then your families wishes should have been respected. If you truely felt that there was neglect and/or abuse of these children then the best thing you could have done was discreetly phone CPS and hoped an investigation would prove you wrong.
Instead, you come on TV/radio/news and hang out all the dirty laundry that you could dish. I am sure your family had no idea that you were capable of taking their privacy and the little bit of discreetion they had and exploited them for your own gain.
I could see their inital intention for the show and happening to find out the hard way the realities of fame and the fortune to follow. You two, intentionally seek that fame at the expense of your family. Taking the chance you will not be able to see your beloved neices and nephews again as part of the consequence.
You question what your neices and nephews would think looking back at their reality life. I question that to you when they look back at their greatest time of need when they could have used you the most and here you are announcing to the world in a circuit of interviews of how horrible their parents are in their choice of parenting. I saw her sister’s website and she said this beef between Jodi and Kate started with TLC trying to offer Jodi some money because she was on the show, mainly because of helping Kate so much, babysitting. To which Kate flipped out and replied “Never. No one but us gets paid.” Kate sounds like she has gone over to the dark side but what is Jodi’s excuse? She lost the moral high ground when she did the interview talking about all this, if it’s about protecting the kids, this isn’t the way to do it. I always wondered where Kate’s family was – Kevin was the only one we ever saw – no one else seemed to get along with her or she didn’t want them on tv god forbid they should get some of “her” fame. TLC does not give a crap what happens to this family or the children and the parents seem addicted to the fame such that they can’t quit. But a grudge fight between the one aunt and uncle the kids still see, and their parents, is so childish and so not-serving of the children, you wonder who if anyone has their best interests in mind, and it’s not all about having money for college. They have that. They need at least one parent’s attention, hopefully one who is mentally healthy. Mady seems like she is turning into a little snot. Would it kill them to take a season OFF. I’m liking Table for 12 but who knows four seasons from now they may be total assholes too.
