Let me have a go at these:
There is a chance this movie with be a gigantic flop. It is a tragedy that no one learned anything from Elizabeth Berkeley’s fate in Showgirls. And it will take divine intervention for Jessica Biel to become the respected actress she’s trying to be.
The best part is toward the beginning where Biel’s character throws a bunch of hot candle wax on herself and then starts crying. OH THE DRAMA!
This looks like utter CRAP! She’s still so desperate to show how far she’ll go. Not impressed. But she does work a poll well. Maybe she should just be a stripper?
On another note, whatsherface from the wrester stripped in that movie and got a nomination. So it’s all relative.
I’m pretty sure this is all women commenting on this…every guy (including me) found this to be awesome. The first scene in the sheet in this movie was pretty amazing too.
that has got to be the most boring stripping-scene I have ever seen…and that’s a bad thing because for as far as I know, those scenes are not suppose to be boring..But I find Jessica Biel very annoying so once again my opinion is not entirely objective…
She should just give up on the acting thing already because it’s not gonna happen…ever…

Actually, it’s so down and depressing it makes me NOT want to ever go to a strip club. They seemed like such happy places. What is she? The emo Stripper? After her is the happy one?

I have to agree with everybody else, it was pretty fucking boring.. I dont think she’s all that pretty either, but i have to say, that working a strippers pole is not an easy thing to do, and so i give her credit for that. But that’s it….. And i wont be watching the entire movie either..

Au contraire! Jessie Spanno’s performance in Showgirls has catapulted her to ultra cult status! I believe that movie is in the top ten (or top something) of purchased DVDs for MGM’s. Not that she’s really worked since then, but…

Showgirls stunk in my personal opinion.
This 6 minute clip of Jessica B. was just the saddest of the sad.
Yes she is beautiful – but not here.
She just looks defeated and sad and tormented.
That her body is stunning matters not a bit, doesn’t change the emotional mess of what is the worst part about stripping at all.

Ummmmmm are u guys thinking like really good movies are the only ones that are succesful because really most movies that make money are the shittiest movies on the planet so this movie with a naked jessica will make it for sure…done deal….If “girlfriends past” and “paul bart” can make millions of dollars COME ON people this stripper movie can too
The scene where she looks uncomfortable is PART of the MOVIE people, her friend walks in and sees her, and she reacts to it.
She is ultra hot, and truthfully, doesn’t show anything you cant see on any beach in Miami. Her ass is more covered in fact.
I think she is not going to have any trouble because of this movie, other than the fact it went straight to DVD.
She has a great body and she’s great with the pole but that’s like the least fun strip club I’ve ever seen. And I’ve been to a LOT of strip clubs. Her face doesn’t look great in this movie, though. Alba’s prettier, in her chihuahua way.
