• I saw the first available Imax showing at 7:00pm tonight (whatever happened to the midnight showings? meh) and it beat my already high expectations of it. It was pretty tricky how they managed to throw all cannon out the window, but still really amazing movie. I had chills for the last 5 minutes of it (people who see it will know what I’m talking about).

      Thanks for making me more excited about the movie. I’ve loved all the series except “Enterprise” and I’m thrilled you liked the new movie so much because I think I will too!

      Pinkangel: Please don’t expect a lot from “Wolverine.” I liked it but it wasn’t a great film, IMHO.

• I’ve been waiting for this post just so I too can say how awesome star trek was.

  I saw it on tuesday at this thing called “mystery movie may” my cinema runs. so pretty much u turn up and u don’t know what film it is except that its unreleased (which i think more cinemas should do. obviously it wouldn’t always be possible to do it with unreleased film cos there would be studio/distributor stuff but they idea of turning up at the cinema not know what u were going to see was very exciting) we had to hand in our phones to these massive eastern european bouncers (which just made it even more exciting) and then finally got to sit and wait to see what it was. STAR TREK.

  I loved every second of it. Even the girls i’d gone with (there were 7 of us, 4 guys 3 girls) agreed it was good and had been pretty pissed off when they found out we’d be seeing Star Trek. I don’t want to give anything away but go see it even if it wouldn’t normally be ur kind of thing. i promise u won’t regret. i’m going to see it again on sunday

• LOVED IT! You can keep Kirk, Spock is sexier IMHO. This isn’t the last we’ll see of Star Trek. And the original theme song? Brought tears to my eyes.
