Dom DeLuise passed away in his sleep last evening at a Los Angeles hospital. He was seventy-five.
The actor who starred in Blazing Saddles and The Cannonball Run is survived by his wife of forty-four years and three sons.

RIP Dom, you always made me laugh.
This made me as sad as a person can be over the death of a stranger :( Dom Deluise made me laugh so much during my child hood that I can’t even count the times. He was my under dog hero, the funny man with a heart, and the hero’s side kick who reminded you he was human, not just a foil. I missed seeing him in movies long before he passed.
He will be missed. I hope he’s up in heaven and still making Dean Martin and everybody else laugh.
He was a funny man and a loving husband. The first cookbook I ever bought was his. I’ll be praying for his wife and sons.
I didn’t even hear about him being in the hospital. This is so sad. Just a week ago my 3 year old was watching an old episode of him on the Muppet Show. *sigh*
Wow, and I thought his only claim to fame was being even more outwardly gay than his BFF Burt Reynolds. Shows what I know.
NOOOO!!
Nonono why is everybody dying?
Beatrice Arthur too?
WHY???!!!
RIP.
He was so funny, his movies and his crazy laugh was a big part of my childhood…bless your heart Dom, you will be missed…
