Recognize this face? If you’re over the age of 25, you definitely should. Anna Chlumsky played the precocious Vada Sultenfuss in 1991′s My Girl opposite Macaulay Culkin — you remember, the feel-good childhood-crush-gets-killed-by-bees film of the early ’90s? At the age of 8, I emerged from that film bawling. I was expecting Kevin McCallister and his wacky robber-thwarting antics, and instead what I got was a lifelong traumatic fear of bees. But I also came out idolizing Vada Sultenpuss and, correspondingly, Anna Chlumsky. I’d often wondered where she’d disappeared for during all this time.

Eighteen years later, Anna has two flicks showing at the Tribeca Film Festival — The Good Guy and In the Loop — and she’s as excited about it as I am! “You plug along and you do your work and sometimes a lot of people see what you do,” she said on the red carpet. “I think it’s so special that people know what I do. It all kind of comes together at once in this moment … I would be living under a rock if I thought that people don’t know the movie My Girl and that it didn’t mean something to people. I think that’s been the blessing of growing up and having every fan of mine tell me what it meant to them…And, yeah, people want to know what I’m doing and it kinda gives you a little extra umph when you’re doing your thing.”

During her absence from the big screen, Anna got a degree from the University of Chicago, worked for Zagat, and met her husband, Shaun So. “There are good guys out there,” she says. “There really, really are. You’ve just gotta be open for it. I think that I actually kinda got what I envisioned when I was 10!”

Good to have you back, Vada Sultenpuss!

In a new interview, Pink opens up about the current state of her relationship with (ex?)-husband Carey Hart. She claims that not only are they back together, they never technically legally divorced.

AP: There’s been talk that you and Carey Hart are getting back together and even remarrying. Is that true?

Pink: I don’t know where the remarriage thing came from. That kind of came out of the air. We are definitely back together.

AP: What did you take away from your time apart?

Pink: We try to protect ourselves from being fully in love and fully open and fully vulnerable, and really all we’re doing is protecting ourselves from love and real love and the opportunity to really learn and grow with another person, so it’s actually really detrimental, and you think it’s helping.

AP: So your advice would be …

Pink: Dive in. Absolutely, it’s not going to kill you.

AP: So would you remarry?

Pink: We never really legally got divorced. Paperwork for both of us is really annoying (laughs). So we’re choosing to be together. Our role models are Tim Robbins and Susan Sarandon and Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawn – people who just choose to be together every day because they want to be there. And labels have never been our thing, so, we’re just diving into that empty swimming pool, headfirst.

Heh. This is absolutely some shit I’d pull. Like, I totally meant to get divorced, but I completely spaced on the paperwork.

She also weighs in on the fact that both she and Britney Spears released circus-themed albums within a short time period: “Had I known that certain other people were going to base their latest thing about circus things, I probably would have went into another direction,” she said. “I was six months before that and didn’t really understand that it was a trend that was happening. I’m pretty out of the loop.”

Ummm, are circus-themed albums a theme that’s happening? Can anyone think of recent examples other than Britney? And why would anyone theme an album around a circus, anyway? People should get more creative. Why hasn’t anyone based on album around Lindsay Lohan’s spray-tanning disasters? It could be called Orange You Glad I Didn’t Do a Circus-Themed Album?. I would buy it. No, I’m kidding, I’d never do something that ridiculous. I download all my music illegally.

WHAT A CUTIE!!!

Matthew McConaughey and Camila Alves wrapped little baby Levi up in a white blanket and a beanie and took him along to the MaliBLUE Art & Music Festival benefiting the Surfrider Foundation.

What a ridiculously adorably little family. I’m unspeakably jealous. I want this life. I also want the ginormous, gorgeous ring Camila’s sporting. I WANT THAT TOO.

FINALLY, something interesting happened on Celebrity Apprentice.

Check out the CRAZINESS that ensued after Melissa Rivers was fired by Donald Trump last night. HOLY CRAP. It’s just a game, you guys. They really took this personally. I gotta admit, though: It’s good TV. You’d think Joan and Melissa would be a little more media-savvy by now, and that they’d know how bad something like this would make them look. Then again, maybe it was a coordinated PR stunt. Nah. They’re not that good at acting.

Anybody have a link to a clip of what actually went down in the boardroom? I couldn’t find one on YouTube but I really really want to see it now!!!

Update: Here’s a clip of Melissa’s exit interview, with more stuff from the boardroom.

I just adore Jay Leno. He’s such a hard worker and such a nice guy. And this story is especially heartwarming. Jay Leno is doing a free comedy show in Ohio, a state that’s been hit particularly hard by the economic crisis.

More than 2,000 people picked up tickets Monday to next month’s free comedy show by Jay Leno, who is bringing his act to southwest Ohio as a morale booster.

People in shorts, sunhats and baseball caps sat in lawn chairs or on the ground to form lines that stretched out from four entrances to the Roberts Centre, where Leno will hold his Comedy Stimulus show May 10.

Penny Tapp, 57, of Highland, arrived about 7 a.m. Monday, more than four hours before the distribution of 4,000 tickets began.

Tapp, who lost her freight delivery job in November, said Leno has a big heart for doing the show.

“It’s like stretching your arms out and hugging the community and saying ‘It’s going to be OK,’” said Tapp, who began to choke up with emotion. “I think it’s tremendously important.”

I just LOVE being able to write a story about something like this. It’s refreshing to see a celebrity do a good deed that doesn’t also reek of being a publicity stunt.

And if you like this story, you should read about the mystery donor who’s been giving millions of dollars to women-run colleges all over the country while remaining completely anonymous to everyone. Another fantastic and heart-warming story (even though I’m secretly pretty sure it’s Bernie Madoff).

Some stellar shots of Lindsay, sis Aliana and their friends relaxing in the Hawaiian sun this weekend.

How high do you think Lindsay was when she did that spray-on tan? It’s practically a Rorschach test. (Side note: I think this is the first time in my life I spelled ‘Rorschach’ correctly on the first try. Applaud me.)

Let’s play a game here: What do you see in the inkblots of Lindsay’s spray tan?
