I *totally* agree. Although, thanks to having a sitter close by now, I have been to the movies more in recent months than since I gave birth. We have plans this weekend, but sounds like a plan for next. Can’t wait to hear what you thought.

“Obviously, Eva is just destined to have a horrible last name no matter what.”

    Wendie-

get over yourself and go to the movies- I find it pathetic that you are a celebrity blogger and don’t even watch the work of people you talk shit about.
Although, I do agree that The Soloist would be a good movie for you to start with.

I feel bad, but that is what I was thinking too!
Plus seeing a good movie on the big screen with the big sound – nothing beats it!
You can get so much more absorbed in it instead of hearing your phone ring or having to listen to your neighbours walking around… going to the movies is one of my favorite things because I love movies and that’s why I love celebrity gossip!

Rhys Meyers is hot but I’m over his deep v-neck look, and Catherine Keener has on the wrong shoes for that ensemble, and Jena Malone is going the way of Lori Petty, sadly.

well if you’ll only go see a movie due to an act of god or robert downey jr. you’re not exactly breaking rank since rdj is in it.

i’ve seen previews for this for a while now and i don’t know how i feel about it. it looks little too over the top and schmaltzy for me, but maybe that’s just how the previews make it look when in fact it’s a lot more nuanced. if you ask me though, it looks like someone took an “inspired by a true story” script and jamie foxx and threw it into the oscar making machine. because rdj is in it though i hope this movie makes me eat my words because i love him ever so much.

  7. Roger says:

Sounds like an interesting story line, but since Jamie Foxx is appearing in the film, I guarantee I will not be appearing in any theater to see it.

The foul-mouthed Mr. Foxx, a verbal abuser of children will never see any of my money. If he’s in it,…I’m out.

  8. Christie says:

LOL that’s an awful last name!!

If you liked the movie enough you should check out the social action campaign the production company put together. It provides some great ways to take action if you feel inspired from the film

really? i think she is way overrated.

  10. jack C. says:

A horrible movie with a horrible Jamie Foxx in it. I’d give it a 10,..10 gags out of 10,…it’s a must heave!!!
