Sacha Baron Cohen Bruno NC-17 Pictures Photos

When he was invited to do an interview about Austrian economics by Sacha’s character Bruno, former presidential candidate Ron Paul got more than he expected when he ended up in a “bedroom” with a pantsless Sacha Baron Cohen.

PAUL: We were in a studio situation. I wasn’t invited to a hotel room. A studio situation where they had a lot of lights burn and blaze and all kinds of commotion. They said — better get in this back room here. And all of a sudden, I was in this room, which they had it all fixed up as a bedroom. So, getting me there was sort of dishonesty. Getting me into the interview.

I was expecting an interview on Austrian economics. So, that didn’t turn out that way. But, by the time he started pulling his pants down, I, What is going on here? I ran out of the room. This interview has ended.

The footage will most likely be included in the new Bruno movie, due out later this year. When the movie is released, Paul plans to apologize to his supporters, even though that will probably just give the film free publicity… like we’re doing right now. I give him credit for not threatening legal action, though he knows the footage will probably make him look ridiculous, and could damage his credibility in the minds of some humorless constituents.

    How does that even happen?
I feel like somebody should have said to Ron Paul as soon as they saw the bedroom scene, “This looks kind of shady, maybe you should leave now”.

  2. Lee says:

Didn’t I already see a lame movie where Sacha Barat Cohen wasted 90 minutes of my life making me watch him do stupid things to people who thought they were helping him or interacting with him in some totally innocent way? Is that still funny? Because it wasn’t really funny the first time.

  3. lolly says:

damn. i read the title and got all excited for the huge scandal. poo.

  4. veronica says:

This isn’t going to hurt Ron Paul. Cohen is a fuckwad. And I agree with Lee, he isn’t funny and lacks talent. The 90 minutes I spent watching him already is more than I’ll ever spend watching him again.

  5. yeayea says:

Sacha Cohen has really shown how totally uncreative he is. He got famous by one act, and cannot think of anything else to do. Someone should tell him that it was barely funny the first time but when you keep doing the same stupid stunts over and over it just looks very pathetic.

    • V says:

his characters (Borat, Bruno, and Ali G) have existed ages before Borat came out. He’s not grasping at straws to try and make something similar to Borat, he’s following up with his next character.
And they’re just two different characters to begin with.

So many Sacha hates here, I can’t believe it~

        I can’t believe it either!
He’s amazing — he’s so smart and you have to be incredibly quick to have a response, in character, to whatever someone else is going to say/do to you.
I think he’s hilarious and I can’t wait to see Bruno!

      • joan says:

i love him too, i thought i was on my mom’s blog by mistake til i saw your comment…
        but seriously he is brilliant.

      • thatLisa says:

I agree with V. He is really just making movies with all his characters.. he is not doing a repeat, he is just moving on to the next one.

I think he is hilarious, I loved his show, and Borat was funny. This looks even better.

i agree with lee and veronica. what a total moron. i’m all for stupid humor, but i think the line should be drawn at damaging the reputations of innocent people. i KNOW his goal is to make people look like total idiots, and i think it’s wrong to bring a well-respected politician into it. i absolutely love ron paul, and he’s pretty much a libertarian god down here in texas (though he’s technically a republican), and i would hate to see something asinine like this tarnish his integrity or reputation.

people need to realize how fragile public opinion is when you’re a prominent professional figure; CEOs, politicians, company presidents, board members, school faculty and administrators, and other eminent personnel are constantly scrutinized and criticized by those who watch them lead. even something intended as a joke or a prank can quickly turn into a HR nightmare if the wrong people take it the wrong way. i really, really hope this does nothing but bring attention to ron paul’s outstanding past record and current platform as a congressman.

sorry for that little rant…my point is, cohen is a fucktard, ron paul is a wonderful guy, and idiots like cohen need to learn when to draw the line.

    • Asta says:

I don’t think anyone has any responsibility towards a public figure’s “public opinion”. When you’re a politician, that’s the shit you have to deal with. I take more offense to your statement that people need to draw a line or censor themselves or tiptoe around people in positions of power. Don’t we need instigators to stir up a little controversy and keep people thinking? I don’t care if Cohen acts like an idiot, if he makes a few people THINK he can do whatever he wants.

  7. Just Saying says:

Frankly, this is the only way I’d vote for Ron Paul.

  8. c. says:

i, for one, love SBC and look forward to his new movie. i do think it’s kinda messed up that this guys career can be affected by a prank, however. i think the best way for people to react in such situations is to be overly calm and under react so there’s no usage footage.

    • me says:

I think Cohen is an opportunist. He has his legit PR people setup interviews with high profile then blindsides them with his homosexual exploits. It’s like a glorified punk’d.. except with a closeted homo. Oh, wait..

  9. Mercedes says:

I cannot wait to see this.

  10. AlmostChosen says:

    Anything but G-d, eh Sasha?

    Rebellious indeed.

  11. I've resumed breathing says:

I haven’t laughed like this in quite some time. Thanks for the laugh. OMG!!!
