Chris Brown is scheduled for arraignment in an LA court on Thursday!

Finally!

The police have reportedly wrapped up their investigation and turned the matter over to the DA’s office, although some sources disagree.

“The District Attorney does have the case,” LAPD media spokesman Richard French told the Daily News.

Prosecutors, however, said they haven’t seen anything yet.

“It’s not true. There’s been no meeting, no new information,” said DA spokeswoman Jane Robison.

DUDE. I don’t care who does what, just PUT HIS ASS IN JAIL!

20 bucks says he gets out with a fine and community service… maybe he’ll see jail for like 24 hours to make a statement.

    • Wendie says:

I’ll be shocked if he even gets any jail.

A statement was released; Get a load of this! Chris Brown; I would rather go to jail..??? Than face the embarrassment of all this! WHAT THE F*CK? Huh? and WOW! I never heard a public apology, but… may-be ”I missed it. This certainly isn’t one. And what did she do? let me make it clear, that she did not deserve this, in any way, I hate anybody that hits. Sometimes a guy will hit without having a reason. It’s just a simple question, is she innocent of any wrong doing! I can’t say I really know her, people read about singers and become fans, but they have personal lives (not much) What do we really know about Rhianna, Pink, JLo or Lily Allen,.. well Lily is pretty real! so strike that. I think I need more info.

It looks like he’s going to jail, and facing public embarrassment so whats the difference, The statement doesn’t make sense!

  2. Pinkey says:

I have lived through domestic abuse. She has already taken Chris back. I’m going to cry now.

  3. Loving Annie says:

How about 1 year for every bruise he inflicted ? Maybe it’d stop other abusers from thinking they could get away with it.

  4. Just me, J says:

I am not hopeful but keeping my fingers crossed he goes straight to jail. His “celebrity” does not excuse him from needing to face the consequences.

  5. Erykah says:

Little OJ in training… I’m so sad that he’s walking around like a jackass and she is in hiding. It should be OTHER way around. Shame should be on the abuser not the abused.

  6. Lilli says:

Beet, I love your choice of picture for this post. It captures so eloquently his true personality. Damn, he’s an ass. I hope he goes to jail, but he’ll probably get community service or jail for a couple weeks.

  7. Tracy says:

He’s SO not going to jail. If anything, he could potentially get a Nicole Richie 82 minute sentence. Don’t count on it. Community service maybe? Court-ordered anger management classes?

    He’s off.

  8. Lorelei says:

I have 3 boys under 18 who each have their own baseball bats. Let’s just put them in a room with chris brown for 20 minutes. They have their father’s opinion on hitting women and what someone like Chris Brown deserves.

    • Trini says:

You encourage violence in your children. Yes, you’re a GREAT matriarch and a wonderful role model. Your children may end up in prison for something just as heinous as this.

  9. Jennifer says:

Nothing will come of this, mark my word. Celebrities get away with EVERYTHING. Robert Blake, Oj Simpson, ect.

  10. Donkey Punch says:

Rihanna isn’t in hiding for the reasons you think. She is hiding because she is ashamed that she is so weak and stupid.

  11. kimber elena says:

BEET i heard today on my fav radio station that rihanna is actually talking to the prosecutors in this case ON BEHALF of chris “double the beating, double the fun” brown, because she doesn’t want the case taken any further, as in, dropping all charges, as in poor, brain washed, insecure girl. i totally love her and understand that yeah, she loves the guy, but this is not an “oops, honey i spent too much money at the bar with the guys” kind of screw up. poor girl. anyway, you should totally investigate and find out if my fav dj evah is a total liar. which i kinda hope he is, with this story.
