Soleil did a post on a TON of the Grammy dresses — it’s here if you want to check them all out. But, per usual, we’re going to discuss some of the stand-outs one by one.

People is reporting that Chris Brown is under investigation for alleged domestic violence felony battery, and the LAPD has confirmed the story. An Officer Harding of the LAPD said that ”if police locate Brown, yes, he’s subject to arrest.”  The identity of the victim has not, and will not be released as per procedure. Here’s a rundown of the incident:

Around 12:30 a.m. on Sunday, the R&B singer and a woman were in a vehicle in L.A. when they became involved in an argument, according to a police statement. After stopping his car, Brown and the woman got out and the argument escalated. The woman suffered visible injuries and identified Brown as her attacker, according to police. 

No one has confirmed or denied that Rihanna was the “woman” in question, however it has been announced that she will not be attending the Grammy Awards tonight though her rep says she is “well”

WTF?! Chris Brown is smacking women now? He’s supposed to do acrobatic dances with well timed pelvic thrusts and make jingles for gum commercials! Literally, the LAST person I ever would have expected to hear something like this about. Hopefully the details will come out over the next few days so we can figure out what the story is.

Grammies are officially underway, people! It never ceases to amaze me how many people with absolutely no musical connections show up to walk the red carpet. For example, UFC fighter Chuck Liddell. Chuck – you punch people for a living. What the fuck are you doing at the Grammies? 

Here are some of the arrivals. I’m sure Beet or Wendie will do an outfit round up in the AM when all the pictures are out. I see some “Worst Dressed” potential already!

After a bitter 15-month long court battle, Eddie Murphy has been ordered to pay up. After publicly humiliating Melanie Brown by claiming baby Angel Iris wasn’t his, DNA tests proved Murphy was the father. Now he’s stuck with a 51,000 a month child support payment. 

Eddie brought this upon himself. That whole DNA test bull was a bitch move and a low blow. He’s off kicking himself knowing he could have owned up to it, settled things amicably out of court, and probably saved himself millions of dollars

Courtenay Semel, aka Lindsay Lohan’s first known lesbian fling and daughter of former Yahoo! CEO Terry Semel has been cut off. She told the New York Post that father Terry had “ froze[n] her trust fund and now won’t answer her calls”. Courtenay’s been a hot mess for years now, but the final straw may have been her run-in with a guard at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas.

 

In a drunken stupor, she famously screamed, “Do you even know who I am, f- – -ing idiot? Google me, you dumb f- – -,” before allegedly punching him in the face.

“I’m not used to the word ‘no,’ ” she said.

She recalled, “I’m sitting in a jail in the basement of Caesars Palace, with these guards yelling in my face . . . It led me to a rock bottom, which I’m in now.”

The charges were dropped, but the security guard is suing her.

 

LOL. Google me, you dumb fuck?! I think Courtenay has overestimated her pop culture relevance if she thinks people can “google” her. For one, they’d have no idea what to enter into the search window. The only pussy folks associate with Lohan now is Samantha Ronson’s and nobody has the time or patience to track who Tila Tequila is supposedly in love with. Once you auction off your affections on a VH1 show people just stop caring. Considering this is a woman that said “I just never thought about how to put gas in my car or food on the table. I was fully supported, I wasn’t worried.” I have no sympathy for her.

Luckily and stereotypically enough Courtenay is currently pitching a reality show.

You know all that bitching we were doing about Angelina appearing at events dressed in what appeared to be belted nightgowns? Well, I think she got tired of it because this is what she wore to The Orange  British Academy Film Awards.
