Since we know Beet despises Mandy Moore with the heat of a thousand suns, and she probably spontaneously combusted when she heard the news, I’ll take this one.

Mandy Moore is now engaged to on and off musician boyfriend, Ryan Adams.  They dated, broke up, she re-hooked up with DJ AM after his near-fatal plane crash.  Moore and Adams broke up the first time because he claimed to be allergic to the paparazzi.  I’m not sure what’s changed but now they are back on in a big, marrying sort of way.

Congrats to the happy couple!

Nicollette Sheridan, the primary reason to watch Desperate Housewives, is out.  Her last episode airs in April and the season ends in May.  No word yet on who will sleep with every husband on Wisteria Lane now.

Any ideas on a replacement for DH?  I don’t even know what else is on.  Maybe I should start getting into football.  Oh, wait.

OK, so it’s rare that I’m actually excited when someone bugs me wanting me to embed their silly revenue-generating widget thingy on Evil Beet. I get a lot of these requests, and, typically, I don’t even write back. But these people have a games widget THAT INCLUDES DINER DASH!

I don’t know if you guys have ever played Diner Dash, but it’s like the most addictive thing on the planet. I once lost an entire summer of my life to Diner Dash. It’s like crack cocaine. And by that I mean “wonderful.” Seriously it’s like the simplest game ever, and it just makes the hours fly by, it’s so much fun. Perfect thing to do at work!!!

The games widget is now on the sidebar, towards the bottom of the site. When you first click it, you have to watch a stupid 40 second ad (not my choice, trust me), but after that you can play all the games for free, and the ads on the side aren’t really that annoying once you get started.

Diner Dash is the last game on the list — I am trying to get them to make it the default game, because it is the WHOLE REASON I AGREED TO THIS, but, who knows, maybe you guys will like the other games on there too.

Maybe it’s just verrrry different makeup, but I hardly recognized Julianne Hough at the Country Music Awards nominations this morning.

And, conspicuously, I couldn’t find any photos of her for the end of December and the entire month of January.

Where was she hiding? And why???

I thought she was really, really pretty to start out with.
