Personally, I thought Jessica Simpson looked DAMN GOOD when she performed at Madison Square Garden with Rascal Flatts last night.

I think the whole problem previously was the outfit. I swear she needs a new team of stylists that specialize in “I’m not really a size 2 anymore” wardrobes. This is NOT a fat girl, she just has this tendency to put on a tiny bit of weight and then choose the outfits that emphasize it the most.

Here’s the rest of the looks from the NAACP red carpet. I hate to admit it, but Eva Marcille looked gorgeous, as much as I dislike her and she will always be Eva Pigford in my book (she was SUCH a bitch on the show!!!).

I like Taraji Henson’s dress but I feel like it would have been way prettier in ANY other color.

Tia Mowry was an enormous FAIL in my mind. That dress doesn’t flatter anything about her.

Jennifer Hudson took home the award for best new artist, and Beyonce won for best female artist. The Secret Life of Bees won for best motion picture, and Grey’s Anatomy won for best TV show.

Conspicuously missing: Rihanna and Chris Brown, who had both been nominated (neither won).

This young woman looked VERY adult at the NAACP Image Awards on Thursday night — but you remember her as a very little girl.

Puss ‘N’ Boots was spotted wandering around Hollywood on Tuesday with an anti-fur pin on her shirt.

Since when does Linds care about the animals?? I thought Paris Hilton had that market cornered.

What do we think of the photo?

So, as you all probably know by now, Usher’s wife, Tameka Foster, was in Brazil to have lipo on her tummy, and went into cardiac arrest after being put under general anesthesia. Tameka had just given birth to the couple’s second son two months ago.

Now, everyone wants to talk about how the stomach isn’t ready for lipo that soon after giving birth, which is neither here nor there, because the lipo was never performed, you guys. The problem was with the general anesthesia. I have two questions:

1) Why on earth did she go to Brazil to have a simple, legal procedure like lipo performed?
2) Why was she under general anesthesia for lipo? Many, many doctors in the U.S. will perform this procedure under twilight anesthesia, which is equally comfortable and presents a far, far lesser risk for the patient than general anesthesia.

I feel like there’s something we’re not being told here.
