paris, here’s a little fashion tip from me to you: when you have feet the size of battleships, never wear pink t-strap shoes. never.

kinda harsh she is built like a supermodel, tall, skinny and sadly big feet. Big feet come with height like that, i mean girlfriend is like 5″10. Still at least this dude is tall enough for her.

I am a ex-pat high school teacher in Japan and all my girl students love Paris Hilton. It’s that dream of cute boys, name brands, tiny pets and glamor that all teenage girls fantasize about while I am trying to teach them grammar.

Oh yeah… the girls do know about The Hills here. We are a modern civilization here in the land of the rising sun and do have MTV. I was discussing The Hills with a group of some of my more silly minded students the other day and they were completely crushed when I mentioned that this show was mostly fake. One girl even got teary eyed over the disappointing news. Ohhhh teenagers…. Wherever you go in the world, they are always the same.

You have to remember in Japan they think we think she is the epitome of female beauty. Just like they think KFC is an authentic Christmas Dinner. (I am serious, I taught ESL there for 3 years.)

  4. Brooke says:

They like her because she looks like a real life anime character.

  5. jill says:

ugh, she is no marilyn. lacks the looks *and* the charisma.

  6. Whoo Hall says:

What “Hello Kitty” is to cute, Paris Hilton is to Celebuslut.

She epitomizes the concept of Celebutard, she’s as recognizable as a corporate logo, (You only need to see her for 3 tenths of a second to get the concept) You can plaster her image on anything from a lunchbox to a vibrator and it will sell.

    She’s perfect for Japan.
