How is it that American television audiences have yet to tire of the washed-up recording artist and family living a normal existence formula? MC Hammer is the newest addition to A&E’s reality line-up. Any guesses regarding the name of the show? Anyone? Predictably, Hammertime. Sigh.
Cameras will follow Hammer, his wife of twenty-three years and their five children as they do exciting things like grocery shop and attend church whilst building a life in Hammer’s childhood home. I’m just praying that he’s not doing it all in harem pants.
I don’t get it.

I first read that his wife is 23 years old and was like hoa, how did she get 5 childen already. Then I wondered how many times he’d been married. I read it for second time then and was relieved. 5 kids with 23 would just be crazy.
No, dude. He’s been married to the same woman for over 23 years… and they have 6 kids. Sounds like they’re happy, too.

Don’t you guys think Hammer’s youngest son, Sammy is just………… a holy terror. He slapped the oldest boy on one of the episodes and no one even disciplined him. It’s Hammertime to do some disciplining!
