I’ve never really watched Dancing with the Stars, but I may be getting into it this season, as I am super-psyched to watch both Shawn Johnson and, of course, The Woz.
Here’s Shawn leaving her first DWTS rehearsal in LA yesterday.
The only thing that would make this better is if they had Alicia Sacramone competing too. I guess it’s better they don’t, though. It would be very dangerous. Alicia would probably fall off the stage.

Gymnasts usually do look young. The training stunts your growth or something doesn’t it. That’s what my mum always told me anyway but that could have been just to stop me asking for lessons lol.

Alicia’s actually mentioned that she’d like to be on DWTS as well. I agree that was a cheap shot about her falling. Honestly, before the Olympics, Alicia was the most solid performer for the USA this past quad (2004-2008). She was competing with some serious injuries that Marta Karolyi looked past (and probably caused with her brutal training camps).
Anyway, I think Shawn will be awesome on this show and can’t wait to see her!
