Today's Evil Beet Gossip

I Officially Relinquish My Right To Ever Complain About My Kids Again

Remember the California baby factory who just gave birth to octuplets?  More information is now being released about the family and it’s scary.  Like, flip your uterus inside out scary.  I feel like I’m being Punk’d hearing about these people; is this even real?

The mom is thirty-three, unmarried and lives with her parents.  She has six other children, including a set of twins, that are seven, six, five, three and two.  Fourteen children under the age of eight.  And the mother’s father is headed to Iraq to work as a contractor so he can help support this mess o’ children.  I hope his annual salary is, like, $450,000.

Do you think this woman is the reproductive equivalent of a plastic surgery addict?  Maybe she’s maxed out all her credit cards on IVF attempts and she’s still planning on more.

Do you think one woman and her mom are enough to raise fourteen children that are no more than seven years apart?  Even with all the free diapers, vacations and college educations that will be thrown at these kids, can they ever get sufficient individual attention and care?  The answer is no.

Kate Gosselin must be racing to the fertility clinic right now and begging the doctor to load her up.  But seriously, she’s got nothing to worry about.  This crazy lady is going to need her own station.

  • WTF? Now why is a woman who is obviously fecund allowed to go to a fertility treatment to get pregnant? My issue, aside from the lack of appropriate individual attention for the kids? Who is paying for it? Granted, her addlepated father is going to Iraq or whatever as a contractor to help support her brood, but how much do you want to bet she’ll be getting government assistance that the rest of us taxpayers are paying for?

Who the hell needs fertility treatment when they’ve already got 6 kids? Why not give the treatment to someone who’s *actually* having trouble conceiving.

  • There are a lot of discrepancies about her story, too. Apparently she had the treatment before seeing a doctor, and when eight embryos were produced she refused to “selectively abort”. Also, most of the time IVF is not recommended for people who already have children…let alone 6.

I hope they get taken away and she is forced to be a birth mother for adoptive parents for the rest of her viable life.

  • Obama has given her hope, we are the ones we have been waiting for.. but Pelosi says abort them.. being patriotic, loyal to her country and God, she wasn’t so sure Madame Cyrpt Keeper speaker had the right to KO her fine new world family plans so she had more than normal to support the President’s new world order where everyone is equal, kind and friends.

    • That doesn’t even make sense? You’re blaming Obama for this? Newsflash: she got preggers way before he became president, and probably before he was even ELECTED. Dumb.

    • Ok, so GET OVER IT. He WON….if you want to waste your life energy making weak arguments connecting Obama to everything wierd you can think of, then you are a bigger loser than you already are.

    • beecbeec from what planet did you arrive here? i’m thinking it’s about time you head back. what a loser.

    • I’m going to throw this out there and say that BEEBEEC is probably suffering from roid rage.
      Just saying.

  • I can hardly believe this story. 8 kids in one birth after already having 6?! I have a close friend who is from a big Irish family. Her Aunt and Uncle had tried for years to conceive, the went through rounds of IVF, miscarriages, etc. Their final attempt was made when the family all chipped in for one last try. And it took, they had a son (one son) and are tickled pink and done, they’ve had their miracle. It’s really expensive to go through all that IVF. This woman sounds like a nut! Who would want that many children? Also, if you plan ‘God’ to get pregnant (ex. IVF) you should be prepared for the “selective abortion” if the litter of embryos stick. It seems a little ridiculous that you can opt in to get pregnant, then opt out when pregnant.

  • The doctor needs his/her papers taken away – totally unethical. The lady is a nut and clearly has self confidence issues. 14 kids…fertility after 6 already…BAD all around.

  • wow.
I grew up in a house of five girls.. and that was chaos
    THIS.
I can’t even believe it! Why why why would you do that to your kids? Like you said, Wendie, NONE of them will get attention from their parent(s?)

  • CNN says that it’s the mother of 14 (ridiculous) who’s husband is going to Iraq… so I’m confused. Either way I completely agree that a person with 6 children who according to Times Online lives with her parents should have probably re-thought fertility treatment…

    • Heather, it is the father of the mom of octuplets that has gone to Irac to earn money to help pay for the babies. The father is a friend of the mom who donated sperm for all 14 babies. She signed an agreement that he would not be responsible financially for anything. Right now, he is supposedly “in shock” and we still don’t know who he is. Octomom hopes in the future he will establish some type of relationship w/the children.

      • The second sentence should read: The father OF THE 14 BABIES is a friend of the mom and he donated sperm for all 14! Didn’t want to confuse you.

  • Oh, it gets even better… Apparently her parents, with whom she is living, filed for bankruptcy a year and a half ago and the grandpa has to go back as a contractor to his native Iraq to pay for his crazy daughter’s brood. There appears to be no ‘father’ in the picture for any of the 14 children.

My brain and my uterus hurt just thinking about this.

  • Oh and you forget to mention that (according to the news reports I saw this morning) the mother wants to remain anonymous, for whatever reason. Probably because she knows everyone thinks she’s a nutball for having IVF after already conceiving 6 other kids.

  • Hmm Im confused. The second picture there talks about the other set of 8 beeing born -98. One of them died. Why is there 8 children in the pic??

  • this woman is gross. She claims it’s a blessing. Is it a blessing to bring more kids into the world and raise them in poverty. What fucking doctors would implant this sow when she had six kids already. Maybe the Christain right will give her money to help raise the kids. Oh wait, they only love fetuses.

  • It’s child abuse, pure and simple. By having that many at once you’ve pretty much guaranteed a few, if not all, to have serious problems related to low birth weight and premature birth. Add to that the lack of attention they’re bound to encounter and you’ve got a recipe for disaster. It’s selfish, irresponsible, sad and definitely NOT a blessing from God.

    • No kidding.

There should really should be laws on the fertility drugs we’ve got. Not quite sure about regulations but having 8 kids at once is not healthy (for the reasons above) or normal.

I could’ve found her 8 children within the hour that need to be adopted. Ugh, chicks like that make me hate people.

  • She’ll remain anonymous only for a bit, I’m sure. Long enough for everyone to wonder who she is and then she’ll decide to have her name released. sShe can do some primetime interview, be on the cover of People and go on Oprah, who will of course shower her with all kinds of ridiculous “favorite things”.
Maybe that was her plan. She had 6 kids already, can’t afford to take care of them and lives with her parents. Decides, “Hey, if I get this IVF shit done, maybe I’ll have multiples and then get my own show on TLC along with all kinds of press and money….”

    • That’s exactly what came to my mind when I read this story. She’s just waiting for the babies (or should I say cash cows) to be released from the hospital. What I’d like to know is why she needed to have IVF when she already had six children?

      • She needed that many to be able to garner a reality show…just as Kate Gosselin did. Kate may well have been her “inspiration”….Kate also had a plan from the beginning before the tups, possibly before the twins were born to get that brood on TV and set her plan in motion. From what I can see on their programs recently, their marriage seems to be going downhill fast. Kate appears to be totally bored, can’t lift her face out of her hand and is in a twit now on the couch interviews. Hmmm, maybe all that money isn’t awarding her all the satisfaction she thought it would. Did you know that TLC wrote a check to the past owners of the G’s new house? Yes, he is a physician, they had the house professionally cleaned, and Kate bitched on and on about how filty it was. Notice the frig that she cleaned for 4 hrs. is not there in the kitchen anymore. It is now in the basement and a big new one in it’s place. As far as I’m concerned, that woman has robbed her children of a childhood, because she can’t allow them to do anything, for fear they will get dirty or messy. That’s because all the cute outfits are new and donated to them from Gap and Gymboree, and she sells them at consignment shops and knows they will bring in more money if spotless! She’s a beotch in my opinion. Can anyone forget her putting Joel on the laundry room floor when he was sick, or Collin and Aiden not getting to eat their birthday cupcakes they made at the bakery. She throws a blanket on everything and she is the one that causes the most chaos in that house!!! I am always amazed at what kind of man would take the crap from this woman that Jon does. Kate worked briefly as an L&D nurse (who better to know how to have multiples) and Jon as an IT tech. Now, neither of them work, and say what you will, they now earn their income off of the tups! Oh, I’m not a fan of the Gosselins, did it show?

  • I would pay the tens of hundreds of dollars in my bank account to see an interview on what Kate has to say about this reproductive infant factory.

“That bitch doesn’t do organic, I just know it. That fucking whore, trying to one up me. Maddie, get mommy a vodka tonic.”

  • I heard she was going to breast feed all of them. I want to know how that is even possible. Just nursing one was enough to keep me in bed all day.

  • A few things:
Doctors are not “supposed” to implant more than 2. So either her mother is lying that she did IVF or that doctor needs to lose his license. My theory is she pulled a Kate — used clomid, hyper-stimulated her ovaries and had sex without dr approval.

  • She can’t have had IVF a doc wont implant more than 4 ever and i’m sure she didn;t have the money as it’s not covered by insurance. She must have taken a fertility drug that created a ton of follicles.

  • I’m well acquainted with the Western Washington quints (The Stephensons). Courtnee’s doctor inserted 5–and that’s what they got. They didn’t expect that to happen. Their first try gave them one daughter four years prior to the quints’ arrival.

That family works so hard, has no money, but they are doing the best they can with fundraisers and the kindness of friends. Since they “only have FIVE” plus one older child, they aren’t getting much other help. (They didn’t DO this to get notoriety. They wanted ANOTHER CHILD…and…well, BOOM. Six kids.)

This other woman? What the hell???

    • I understand the point your trying to make but i dont think that anyone deserves anymore help simply because they have multiples. I mean they were the ones who chose to concieve in that way and im sure they knew that having 5 was an option. There are plenty of familys with 6 kids, my mom came from a family of 12 kids and god knows they had to make due the best they could without help from anyone. I mean it might sound mean but i think if you think you might need funraisers in order to support your children then you shouldnt do it.

  • This is just sad. the woman is an idiot. i have a friend that has 13 brothers and sisters all under the age of 20. They are horrible wretched children who all fight for their parents attention and hurt each other in the process. its a sad cycle and people that have that many children are just hurting their own kids and the societies that have to deal with them.

  • Fertility treatments are supposed to be for people who are not…you know, FERTILE. Popping out six kids would tend to negate any claim like that. I have read some claims that this is a “Quiverful” family…a religious group that believes you should basically do whatever you can to have as many children as you can (no info on how you’re supposed to support them, the rule seems to be go forth and multiply like rabbits, the rest is up to you). Selfish, stupid, possibly dishonest woman if she tricked doctors into fertility treatments she didn’t need. Good luck to her kids, they will need it.

  • Oh. My. Along with all of Hollywood’s most notorious bimbos, this lady should not be allowed to reproduce. 14 fucking kids born from one single mother living at her goddamn parents house??? I feel bad for those poor kids.

  • The unmarried mother of all those kids Father.. HER dad is going to Iraq to make the money for his grandchildren.. she has no baby daddy and YES! We can support her! It’s the new way of life.. all the money from us goes to those who don’t work or won’t work.. or lose their jobs to cheaper labor, these have-not’s can have birth control or not for free, room and board, clothing food, no questioning from us, and to cure all STD’s, abort those unwanted children overseas as well as the poor here if they want to mess around, buy private planes and repair office suits and clubs and mansions for the rich and give all the failing CEO’s more bonus money.. but we shall be happy in sharing and giving them better than we will ever have… those in control don’t answer to us anymore, are even hiding or destroying evidence and pampering all financial criminals, PLOT TO DESTROY ALL FANNIE DATA; FIRED WORKER PLANTED VIRUS… etc

  • Just a point of clarification: Quiverful families don’t “basically do whatever [they] can to have as many children as [they] can” . They don’t use birth control thereby leaving the number of children they have up to God. (No, I do not subscribe to their beliefs). Under the guidelines of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine, docs in the US would rarely impant more than 2 embryos in a 33 year old woman, and most docs with any ethics would not perform IVF on an obviously fertile woman who already has 6 kids. The whole situation sickens me.

    • I understand the not using birth control thing but how would she think having IVF is leaving it up to god? I think god would have wanted her to stop at 6 (or none)…

      • Another poster suggested this woman was a follower of the Quiverful philosphy. My point was that she probably wasn’t since Quiverful families leave this up to God, while this woman apparently had IVF.

    • Reality show, movie of the week, book deals, Oprah, the bitch will end up rich, and the kids all ef’d up. I bet she ends up with over 20 kids by the time here baby-maker is done.

  • this whole thing blows my mind.

    from http://www.mahalo.com/Nadya_Suleman :

Nadya, her first six existing children, her mother, father and now the babies, live in what CBS described as a one story home with “two-to-three bedrooms”

Reportedly works as a technician in a fertility clinic

-man.. if that last part is actually true…!!!

there should be a law against this

  • My Dad came from an Irish Catholic family of 14 – he was the lucky middle child, and they got bare minimum attention and material things – not cos they were bad parents, but they were just stretched too thin!

It would be impossible to give these kids proper attention.

Please, fertile lady, give me one or two!

    • My mom is the oldest of ten. She pretty much ended up raising her youngest brothers and sisters, that’s usually how it plays out in large families, but this having 8 kids at one time, there’s no extra help.

      • Yeah, by the time he was out of home his dad had died so he ‘adopted’ a younger brother and pretty much brough him up as a son…..

I can’t imagine it – being an only child myself!

    • IT’S NOT ALWAYS THAT WAY.

I’m a multiple (a tiwn) and one of 7 children, in a very “middle class” family. While there weren’t alot of luxiuries growing up, there was, and is, an enormous amount of love from my parents to us AND TO EACH OTHER. We are all adults now, and one thing we never have to be IS ALONE, unless we choose to.

Our parents greatest gift to us, WAS EACH OTHER. For life.

  • The media needs to STOP giving these people positive attention– TV shows, etc. This is just a sickening situation. Humans are not meant to bear litters.

  • The family apparently filed for bankruptcy last year…all the more reason to add kids to the family, because you could clearly support the 6 you already had.

  • The woman is married, however she is living with her parents because her husband is a contractor working in Iraq. They’re not native Iraqi’s.
FTR- She should’ve counted her blessings with her 6 children and left it at that.

  • The more litters this woman grunts out the higher the taxes will go to pay for them.
All I can say is welfare anyone?
Why are we supposed to be pumped that she’s a human labrador?
Comparing this woman to Kate Gosselin, who openly admits she didn’t plan on having 6 kids, is some bull. The Gosselin kids are taken care of and loved by amazing parents. Yes, Kate is kind of a spaz but it’s whatever…you can’t convince me that this idiot can take care of all those kids on her own with her mom.
I still love you though, Evil Beet.

  • Ok, so check this out, I read today that this woman is in fact single, no hubby or BF, and that her mother does not support what she did. Her mother was quoted as saying to the media that her daughter has been “obsessed” with having kids since she was a teen, so much so that she took her daughter to a shrink who advised her to throw the daughter out so she wouldn’t do this. The daughter has no job and is attending college somehow and her mother told her in the hospital that she “will not be there when she gets out” meaning I’m not supporting you. She used a donor to get pregnant which means no child support which means you and I will be supporting the brood this irresponsible cow brought into the world. Did I mention that several of the kids are autistic? And that she allegedly got PAID to do the IVF?

  • Man…and my husband and I can’t even have ONE. Our insurance does not cover IVF and we sure don’t have the money to cover it out of pocket. Yet somehow, this woman has 14. Where is the fairness in that? It makes me so sad.
