Pointyness aside she looks good, and those kicks are PERFECT. I love the dress from the waste down.

The dress is a completely bad choice. She usually looks great with her body, obviously big but not bad; but here she looks yucky and puffy. I’m certain it’s the dress.
This dress says “Don’t look at me, don’t look at me…!” Beige, ugh. (I’m a wallflower, so I always wear skirts with pockets. Triple-ugh.)

It’s the cut of her dress, not the bra. They used “arrow” darts instead of the MUCH more flattering and correct “S” darts.
Thank you for pointing that out. But it’s virtually imposable to make a “S” dart on taffeta.
If you use a good stabilizer, and leave yourself at least a 1/2 inch seam allowance, it *can* be done. It’s not easy, mind you, and it requires VERY careful attention to grain lines as well as some damn fancy pressing. You’ve also got to have adequate support under your garment, so lining and interlining are imperative, as is a waist stay. (Since taffeta is so stiff, one bit of slip and the whole thing looks just horrid.)
I wish she was a little more fancy. The dress and shoes=BLAH. It looks like something my grandmother would wear, but only with lower heels.
Is she a Femme_Bot? are those Machine Gun Jumblies? She looks oddly like Katy Perry when she performed in Australia!
Ugly Betty got pretty! I love it. Not fond of the breasts though, somebody could hurt themselves on those things.
