Regarding the tragic loss of their son, Jett, the following statement was released on Kelly Preston’s website:

We would like to extend our deepest and most heartfelt thanks to everyone who has sent their love and condolences.

Jett was the most wonderful son that two parents could ever ask for and lit up the lives of everyone he encountered. We are heartbroken that our time with him was so brief. We will cherish the time we had with him for the rest of our lives. We have received many messages of condolence from around the world and we want to thank everyone for their prayers and support. It has meant so much to us. It is a beautiful reminder of the inherent goodness in the human spirit that gives us ahope for a brighter future.

With love,
John, Kelly and Ella

An autopsy is scheduled for Monday with a burial planned for mid-week.  Obviously, it is just the worst thing that could happen to any parent.  Really no words…

  • Kelly Preston personifies class. She is beautiful, loyal, and most of all a wonderful mother. John Travolta isn’t so bad himself. It pains me to witness in this world the plethora of losers who have so much yet take it all for granted while a young man who in spite of what ever medical difficulties he had loved life and all of those who shared it with him.
My most heartfelt prayers and sympathy’s to the Travolta family.

  • There is speculation that her son had autism, which is a disease not recognized by scientology… When autism goes undiagnosed and untreated, seizures become more and more frequent, especially in adolescence. Kawasaki disease apparently doesn’t produce grand mal seizures. IF, in fact this was the case I hope that it is brought to light and people who have autistic children – and scientologists alike- will be forced to face this epidemic and children will be treated. I only know of this by reading a few articles, one in which Johns brother claimed that Jett showed all the symptoms of an autistic child. Also… his room was equipt with a baby monitor and the bathroom door chimed every time he went in to alert the 24 hour care nanny. It just seems to me that perhaps there was a little more wrong with him then his parents would believe…. Regardless, losing a child has got to be rough and my heart goes out to the poor family.

  • Scientologists don’t believe in medication that alters the brain. If their son was having seizure problems they would have denied him the proper medication because of their cult’s beliefs.

Scientology claims another poor victim. :(

  • Quote from another Celebsite that isn’t pre-occupied with dog videos, family photos, and Britney “washed up psycho” Spears.

“Police in the Bahamas are disagreeing with John Travolta’s staff in the wake of the New Year’s Day death of his son Jett, 16, at the Old Bahama Bay Hotel about how long the teenager lay undiscovered in the bathroom.

Police are reporting that Jett was left alone for more than ten hours from when he was last seen heading to his bedroom at the Travolta’s vacation townhouse at 6 PM after a day of boating with his family. Jett’s nanny, Jeff Kathrein, reportedly found Jett lying on the bathroom floor at 11:30 PM.

    • Get on up outta your parents basement and get a life you know it all fucktard! Do everyone a big favor and stop pretending to be an expert on EVERY topic! Unless you have or know an autistic child, or have studied scientology, your “analysis” is worthless. Yea, I’m watching you Funky Stench.

  • Thing is, if it turns out that Jett was ill with an unrecognized-by-scientology-disease, and was therefore untreated, you know no one will try to press charges for neglect. If someone unaffiliated with Scientology and a non-celebrity were in the same situation, you know they’d be spending some time in a court room.

  • I think its really sad that people are focusing on their religion and all the “what ifs” and not how terrible it is that they lost their child. Its pretty obvious you guys don’t have children. I can’t even imagine how terrible it would be to lose a child.

    • I wondered around Ocala Florida today, where I live, not too far from Jumbolair Estates where they live. The Wide side gate was opened and I drove my Jeep on to the compound. Normally the side gate is closed and locked, John Travolta’s house is so cool. I thought about what I would say, well that’s something Iv’ never considered doing before Jan. 2 because his emotions have been crushed. Anyway, no I did not see him, this time but I have spoken with him on 3 occasions in the last 2 years. He is a very caring man. Dr. James Picket M.D. and head of the Neurology department for Marion Hospital (Ocala Fl.) released a statement to the Ocala Star Banner Newspaper that Jett Travolta was not in anyway, ignored by doctors or his parents the Travolta family found it difficult to find the proper medication for his symptoms. He was diagnosed with Kawasaki Syndrome, but there were complications. The Travolta family will not share this news with anyone, (I only know because we live in the same city) They won’t share it because, it’s personal, it’s emotional, and they don’t think they need to.

  • People are only insisting that it was autism because that’s what they keep reading, John Travolta has said that it is not autism. If you can’t get your facts straight mind your own fucking business!
