I Don’t Hate What Christina Aguilera’s Wearing on the Red Carpet

This is essentially breaking news, because I don’t know that it’s ever happened before.

The dress is quite nice, and her makeup is relatively subdued, and she looks — dare I say it? — pretty. What could have inspired her to look like a normal human being for once?

My one complaint: Why is she wearing that lunch lady hair net??? Ew. Was that really the only way to get all her hair extensions away from her dumb-ass neck tat? Seriously, who tattoos their own damn name on their neck? That’s some Paris Hilton self-absorption right there. I mean, really, is it your way of being absolutely sure that your husband calls out the right name when he’s doing you from behind? Because I’m not sure he’s actually tall enough to see it anyway.

Here’s more pics of XXXtina at the Grammy nominations concert.

  • She looks so pretty! I am so glad she subdued those horrible bangs, the way they are cut here look really cute.

  • Aren’t those Glad trashbags she is wearing? You know, the kind with the reinforcement. It makes a nice look, but I am sure that I just lined my kitchen trash with the same thing this morning…

  • Shouldn’t her tattoo – and apparently her self-chosen nickname – technically be “Xina”? X (as in Xmas) = Christ, so I’m just saying, Xtina is kind of redundant with the t’s. I know, I know, I’m overthinking this, but something about it just bugged me this morning as I looked at her ugly Ruth Buzzi bun-in-a-hairnet drooping like some kind of bloated tumor over that vain little tattoo, and I had to say something.

  • i hate it when people get their names tattooed on them selfs….dose she think she is going to forget her own name?

  • Yah, definitely over-thinking. Xina also reads like Zena (Xena: the Warrior Princess). What’s worse having your name their or having a guy’s name there? Should have gone with a butterfly…. who cares.

Leave it to Miss Dirty to pull off Glad trash bags in such a fab way. I think the hair net is used to aid in keeping buns polished along with hairspray. It’s supposed to be invisible….

  • the hairnet is a trick that dancers use to make buns without flyaways.
but not the best idea when you’re being photographed from close up.
    it’s more for stage performances.

  • I sit behind this girl in my class that insists on wearing her hair up everyday to expose the hideous tattoo of her name on the back of her neck. It makes me wanna smack her, seriously.

btw, “Xtina” is really pretty, I love her look here, the bangs and everything. She looks great minus the tat :)

  • Yeah, I read the part about the tattoo before I scrolled all the way down and I was expecting to see maybe her son’s name and I was like…”Oh. Huh. Her tattoo is…her own name. The dirty version of it. On, uh…her own neck. That’s…cool?”

  • wow Xtina does look pr-pre-pretty!!! there i said it. that was tough. whew. i have some pavlovian reflex that makes me type ‘tranny clown’ every time i see her usual mess.

  • i dont know whether its the silly hairnet or the stupid tattoo but there’s sth about christina aguilera that utterly irritates me, i can tell u. Like it arises an unbelievable will to just slap her face and tell her how ugly both her hubby and kid are. im not THAT mean, don’t get me wrong.

  • Wow, she looks absolutely gorgeous here. I’ll never get why there are so many people who are so passionate about hating someone. The fact that she she gets so many people spewing venom about her must mean she’s doing something right. I’m not usually into her music but she has an absolutely amazing voice and her performance last night was incredible. Great job Xtina.

  • you are all fucking pathetic you all need to get a life you little people you think sitting at your computer bitching about nonsense will make you feel better? think again and go start living…fags
