Star Magazine is reporting that Jennifer Aniston is pregnant with…what else?  TWINS!  The battle of the dueling uteri lives on!  Ok, it’s Star so I’ll hold off on buying a gift but wouldn’t it be great if it were true?

I know we have pressing world issues at hand but Gwyneth Paltrow’s wardrobe choice at the Paris premiere of Two Lovers bears mention.

Congratulations to President-elect Barack Obama!  It’s definitely a bittersweet day for many as it appears that Proposition 8 in California may pass.  I think Prop 8 is about fear more than hate but either way, I just don’t understand it.  I’m straight and married…my anniversary is today actually.  Why shouldn’t anyone else, gay or straight, be entitled to forget celebrate their wedding anniversary as well?  It doesn’t affect me or my life…if love and happiness are the goals, why fight against that?  Seriously…don’t we have bigger issues at hand?

With 95% of precincts reporting, Al Franken trails his opponent in the Minnesota Senate race by less than 1500 votes.

Oh, and recently convicted felon Ted Stevens? Is winning his Senate race in Alaska. Ha.

On Tuesday, Massachussetts passed a ballot initiative decriminalizing marijuana. The new law will “replace the criminal penalties for possession of one ounce or less of marijuana with a new system of civil penalties, to be enforced by issuing citations, and would exclude information regarding this civil offense from the state’s criminal record information system. Offenders age 18 or older would be subject to forfeiture of the marijuana plus a civil penalty of $100. Offenders under the age of 18 would be subject to the same forfeiture and, if they complete a drug awareness program within one year of the offense, the same $100 penalty.”

Massachussetts also passed a law banning dog racing.
