Just a few months after she broke up with Michael Buble, The Devil Wears Prada actress is apparently getting hot and heavy with Jim from The Office.

The new couple spent some quality time together earlier this month, kicking back at San Ysidro Ranch in Santa Barbara. “They ordered room service, took long walks and spent every second together,” says an insider. “John really cares for Emily — he totally fawns over her. And she’s loving the attention. She’s a down-to-earth girl, but it’s nice to be treated so well.”

John’s a total upgrade over Michael Buble, IMHO.

Reesey looks absolutely edible at the LA premiere of Four Christmases.

Also there: Kristin Chenoweth, who looks fantastic considering her show just got canned.

Pushing Daisies has officially been canceled. According to executive producer Bryan Fuller: “It’s very likely that Pushing Daisies will end after episode 13, which as you know, is a cliffhanger. But we are talking to DC Comics about doing comic books that will wrap up our storylines, and I already have a pitch for a movie ready to go. To be honest, I’m really not feeling very boo-hoo about it. I am so proud of the show. We put together 22 really good episodes, and there is a lot to be proud of. I’m sure I’ll be working with a lot of these people again, and I would love to do so.”

Also rumored to be canceled: Dirty Sexy Money and Eli Stone, although reps for those shows have not yet confirmed the rumors.

What do you think?

Will you miss any of these shows?

This is a freaking ADORABLE story about Jessica Simpson’s man:

A homeless man who goes by Doc was cashing in change at a Cinemark Theatre in Dallas when a guy walked up and offered to pay his way into the movie. He planned to spend his day passing out fliers and accepted a rain check before realizing that he recognized the generous gentleman.

“Was that Tony Romo?” Doc asked the worker behind the counter.

It sure was. Doc, who requested that his real name not be used, hustled across the street to the consignment store that paid him to occasionally pass out fliers and requested the day off. By the time he got back to the theater, Role Model had already started.

Romo, who confirmed the story but didn’t want to elaborate, waved Doc over to sit by him and his friend. Doc sheepishly mentioned that he hadn’t showered in a few days.

“Don’t worry about that,” Romo said. “I’m used to locker rooms.”

And so the $67 million quarterback and a man who doesn’t have $6.70 to his name sat next to each other and shared laughs for 90 minutes or so.

For Romo – who made news by changing a couple’s tire on a roadside on the way home the night of the season opener – it was just another kind gesture to a random stranger. It meant the world to Doc.

“For me, it was a blessing,” Doc said. “It came at just the right time. It gave me some encouragement and faith in mankind. I just wanted to say thank you.”

What a cutie!!!

Is it possible that Jessica Simpson’s actually managed to snag herself a downright decent dude?

There’s only one problem with this: we’re supposed to be BOYCOTTING Cinemark, dammit! What would Ken Paves think?

For reasons I can’t even begin to fathom, Dr. Pepper said they’d give a free soda to everyone in America if the new Guns ‘N’ Roses album actually dropped in 2008. The new album, Chinese Democracy, goes on sale on Sunday, and is already streaming for free on MySpace.

Can someone please explain to me why Dr. Pepper had any sort of a vested interest in the Guns ‘N’ Roses album? Was this just a stupid marketing ploy? I can’t even imagine why they’d do this.

“We never thought this day would come,” Tony Jacobs, Dr Pepper’s vice president of marketing, said in a statement. “But now that it’s here, all we can say is: The Dr Pepper’s on us.”

Beginning Sunday at 12:01 a.m., coupons for a free 20-ounce soda will be available for 24 hours on Dr Pepper’s Web site. They’ll be honored until February 28.
