E! TV’s Daily 10 host Debbie Matenopoulos and her music executive husband Jay Faires are splitting after five years of marriage. It’s always sad to see a marriage end. But you know what’s really sad? Finding out about it on the ‘net. It seems that Debbie thought they were working things out. Any by “working things out” I’m sure that means they were still sleeping together even though they separated in March.  Apparently her husband’s idea of resolving their issues was a little more permanent and legally binding. Cold.
In an interview with People, Debbie said she was “deeply saddened” by her husband’s divorce filing. I’d imagine pretty pissed off and humiliated too.
I am not a proponent of divorce and I believe in working things out,” says Matenopoulos, a two-time Emmy nominee and former co-host of The View. “So you can only imagine my extreme sadness and disillusionment when I was informed of my husband’s divorce proceedings, much like you were, by reading them online.”

ouchy LuLu – why so bitter about a woman you’ve never met?! I can’t believe Debbie is 33, she looks 25 max. It would be terrible to be left at any time, but in public view it must be harder to deal with the pain and humilartion as it is all magnifed. She said she was willing to work things out with him, so sad he didn’t value his marriage enough!
totally disagree. i really thought she was like 36. she looks old. they should have a hot chick on that show, i always asked why do they have this old woman on this show? she should be 23 and have the most beautiful face we’ve ever seen and you know i’m right. she has to know someone at that station.
and i hate humilartion. especially magnified. that could burn ants. and did you ever think that maybe it’s not him not valuing his marriage, maybe, just for a second could it be her causing the problems?
