  • I live just off broad street in philly… this is the 3rd riot we’ve had in like the past 2 weeks… We can’t handle this!

  • I love Obama, I’m a democrat, and I did vote for Obama… However, I admired McCain’s speech tonight… He seemed very, very sincere and I thought it was great. He gave me goosebumps on the topic of being an American.

  • I’m glad Obama won. I’m so happy/excited/thrilled and a dozen other emotions including gassy… But I’m tired of 15 year old kids going “Oh no, the country is going down the shitter..”

    :(

  • now I can go back to a normal breathing life. Yes. This is great. Beyond words. I am a blubering crying happy mess.

  • Now is the time for everyone to come together and get this country back on track! BE gone with all the evil bullshit that has permeated the race, this country for so long! The cloud has lifted and the healing begins!

  • I’m actually crying tears of happiness (for the first time since Keiren Perkins won the 1500m freestyle from lane 8 at the Atlanta Olympics.)
Congratulations USA – you did it! All may yet be forgiven…
Welcome to the White House Barry O!

  • My Dad and I are having a celebratory beer up here in the Great White North…..good on John McCain for his classy concession speech.

  • America…
    America…
    America, FUCK YEAH!
Coming again, to save the mother fucking day yeah,
    America, FUCK YEAH!
Freedom is the only way yeah,
Terrorist your game is through cause now you have to answer too,
    America, FUCK YEAH!
So lick my butt, and suck on my balls,
    America, FUCK YEAH!
What you going to do when we come for you now,
it’s the dream that we all share; it’s the hope for tomorrow

    OBAMA RULES!

  • I am just BEYOND happy he won! FINALLY I can relax more about my kid’s future… and I can honestly say I have disliked McCain, and especially that moron Palin, from day one, but I really admired his speech tonight! So I thank him for it! Hopefully his supporters will listen and make peace with the results. But did anyone notice while he was speaking that skinhead holding his child, with so much hate in his eyes? Now THAT scares me.

Anyway.. YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!!!!!! Beet Ima stuff my face with chocolate with ya!

  • I don’t live in the US at present, but I am an American and this thrills me to no end….. who’s singing, “I’m Proud to be an American”? I totaally am. Never thought we’d see this kind of change.

  • woooooooooo hell yes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

shit I’m actually crying what a loser but I can’t help it!

    America I f*cking LOVE you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I am so freaking happy right now, it’s unbelievable!

And Elizabeth Dole got voted out of the Senate!! YES!!!!! Kay Hagan is so much better for the state.

  • Obama slaughtered McCain…..just look at Michelle’s dress….lol.
    Congratulation to Senat…errrr President Obama!

  • It is such a great feeling to know that I voted in such a monumental election and to now have a black president. I just hope that the rest of America can see past his color or his short standing resume and see that America needs a man with common sense and the passion to send the US into a brighter, greener future.

  • Wow!!! I feel hopeful for a change! The past eight years have sucked so badly, I’m almost afraid to believe Obama really won! What a huge job he has ahead of him. I wish him well.

  • YAY! I’m so proud! As a soon to be mom of a biracial little girl, I am ecstatic! I can’t wait for her to see this historic event! My husband and I both cried during Obama’s speech. Good shit.
    GO OBAMA!

  • America, we’re proud of you. Congratulations for, at last, making the good choice! *Standing ovation for Barack Obama* Tonight, I would have been happy to be one of you out there, making history! Now hopefully we’ll be able to stop playing “I’m afraid of americans” on a loop ;)

  • I loved it when Oprah Winfrey said that when she met Barack 4 years ago, she had a sense that she was in the presence of a great man. I, too, feel the greatness in this man. I remember feeling the same way in 1960 when John F. Kennedy was elected president, and I still marvel at how he united the country and gave people hope. I deeply sense that Barack will have the same effect on this nation and on the world. Oh happy day!

  • Hola back!!!! I’m a South African and the last time I felt this elated was the day Mr. Nelson Mandela was voted in as the first black president of SA. Now Mr. Barak Obama has made history once again! The Change Is Right NOW!!!!

    I love it!
