After all my encouragement to get you guys to register and vote, I’m not going to be able to vote!
And, no, it’s not because of that recent felony conviction for looking so good it should be illegal. (ZING!)
I haven’t been back to LA since I left rather suddenly in February, and I’ve been missing my friends there a lot lately, and I wanted to get back to see everyone before the holiday madness began. So, without thinking about it, I booked a flight earlier this week to go there next week. And today it hit me that I’m totally not going to be able to vote now! I’ll be in California on Election Day! I’m registered in Washington, and I’m too late to do an early ballot! See? All the celebrity PSAs in the world can’t prevent me from being a total fucking moron.
Update: Never mind! My friend told me I was too late for early voting but he was wrong! Washington will still allow me to do early voting if I drive my ass down to Renton and do it in person. So I AM VOTING! WOO HOO!

I cant vote because that trick at the DMV who processed my registration wrote ‘N Green’ instead of ‘Northgreen’ for my street and I didnt know about it until long after the deadline. *sigh*

meh.. voting is over-rated unless you live in a swing state. most delegates pledge their vote to whomever wins the majority vote anyway. Remember people, you vote for a delegate to vore for you. Didn’t Bush lose the popular vote but still win the presidency? that means we voted to NOT have him as a president but he still won. When will you learn?
Don’t give up on voting, me (unless you really are French). I’m early voting on Saturday then flying out of town on Monday. Be a part of the solution, or don’t bitch.
yay! im so happy you were able to work it out! im really glad that youre such an advocate of voting and following the election… its always great to see someone who’s really passionate about voting :) as for me, i just mailed my absentee ballot today!

Jesus, was no one else bothered by Olive’s “extra gene baby Palin” comment? No matter what side you vote for, no one should make remarks like that. Shame on Olive and on everyone who did not call her on it. What a low rent loser she must be. And yes, I just name called but she has CONTROL over what she says. A helpless baby and the mother did not have anything to say about this disability. Sorry – I work with adults with developmental disabilities so I am extra sensitive on this subject.
