Despite a previous stint on Celebrity Rehab, Rod Stewart’s son Sean is back in rehab, this time at Malibu’s Canyon at Peace Park clinic. The family’s spokesperson is refusing to comment.
Bear with me today, kids, as I’m waging a losing battle against PMS this morning. All I want right now are cigarettes and Valium. I am trying valiantly to avoid both. But today is pay day for me, so I may ditch out early and indulge in some hardcore shopping. I’m really excited to buy tons of yummy sweaters and scarves for my very first winter!

I think it is just ridiculous how quick people are to judge. First and foremost…u don’t even know Sean Stewart! U have no idea what his life is like. All u know is what the tabloids tell u..oh and i’m sure they would never be inaccurate. Sean is funny, smart and sexy as hell!! I think it’s awesome that he is at least trying to get clean. That takes lot of courage to do what he is doing. Sean has a great heart and soul….he is just a bit lost. He needs mentors and love….and good, real friends and family who can let support his desire to work on his problems and angels to help guide him into life. It’s ok Sean to fall…just proud of you for working on your sobriety and life. There is so much greatness yet for you to achieve once you are of clear mind. Hang in there and learn to laugh….and give yourself and your Dad forgiveness……spend time alone and learn to love yourself….and pray, ask for divine help….then slowly a voice inside will help guide you to recovery and learning to find the joy and fulfillment you probably crave. It’s out there…..don’t give up and laugh…dance, sing….do what you love and all will fall into place….

For some reason it always seems to bother me to hear people just simply trash others. Sean S., has opened his life and allowed it to become an open book. I can’t imagine how difficult that would be. When an addict realizes they have a problem, they in fact ARE taking responsibility for their actions. :

Rod Stewart’s inability to be a father is the underlying origin of Sean’s problems. He craves attention through his actions. It is unfortunate that his father is too much into himself and not his children to realize this.
Sean goes through rehab and his folks are too busy to show up for family day?!? Very unfortunate. Hopefully Sean can one day realize that he does not need such people in his life in order to be successful.
Im watching the rehab shows… My heart goes out to these BRAVE pepole . I have family members that have went threw the same things. Thank God I have never had these troubles. I feel its because the PARENTS dont have the Lord in them when raising these kids( now adults) I just pray that people like Sean gets the help he needs. I hope & pray he does not blame himself for the STUPID things people have said to him over the years. May God be with him & the other rehab members.,

Sean went through a lot as a child. I’ve been watching this season of CR with Dr. Drew, and I can’t imagine going thru some of the things he talks about.
How many of you posters were told when you were 11 that you were a total waste of sperm and egg?? That is what Sean was told. He told Dr. Drew said that to him, but that part wasn’t revealed. Could have been both of them. Alana Hamilton was always too into herself to be bothered by others.
All children need to be loved and nutured. I don’t see Rod or Alana fulfilling that role! As was mentioned previously, neither of Sean’s parents saw fit to come to “Family Day”. How Sean must have felt to know that they were either too busy or didn’t care enough to be there for him. Or they simply find him too much of an “embarrassment” to them to bother?
Hang in there, Sean. Divorce yourself completely from your total waste of parents. I’m sure you can find love and support from others who aren’t so wrapped up in their own lives!

Gary Busey should just whip his ass for being the son of an icon like Rod Stewart and not knowing who Buddy Holly was when they were getting ready to watch “The Buddy Holly Story” on Celebrity Rehab. He is so eager to point his finger at Gary for the way he acts, but I guess that’s because he’s such a fairy and not used to being around REAL men. I’m pretty sure the part that was bleeped out was “stepfather” and that would have been George Hamilton, that tanned has-been clown. The “egg and sperm” thing sounds so like something he would say. His own son Ashley didn’t turn out so great, gotta be a reason for that.
That being said, it seemed to me and the general consesus is that Sean Stewart was there on Celeb Rehab for money and sympathy because he had that court case pending where he threw a brick at a couple in a car. The fact that he is back in rehab means he didn’t take it seriously. I felt bad for him at times because it seemed that he got in over his head – he wasn’t expecting that comedian to make fun of his relationship with his dad and that he wouldn’t have anyone to come to Family Day.
I wish these Hollywood kids would get their own identities, go to college and make something of themselves instead of living in LA and off of their famous parents names.

Whether you like or dislike Sean Stewart he and the other celebrities provide the audience with an insight into their personal struggles with addiction and their feeling of abandonment and detachment from their families. We get a first hand view of how drug addiction ruins lives of some great actors and personalities such as Jeff Conaway and Gary Busey. I think Dr. Drew Pinskey is a very brilliant and understanding person. We could use more like him.
With 16 years plus + clean sober life … Love empathy compassion but son you have to put in the work Sean , not talk the talk but walk the walk and shut up. life will get better I guarantee .. hang in there it will take one day We love you too
Sean is still young and has a lot of growing up to do. I was impressed with how big is his heart is, and how sad his early years were. One thing Sean needs to understand is that we all carry baggage from our childhoods, most people just don’t live it in public. I can’t imagine the humiliation he has suffered with his life so visible. Sean, if you read this, I pray that one day you will be able to disconnect from your childhood, and grow into the man you were meant to be. Let go of the past, your family has done enough damage already. Don’t let them continue to hurt you by believing the crap they told you. Consider the source, they are idiots, that doesn’t mean that you have to be too. Stay in treatment and keep going back, no matter how many times you fall off the wagon. Every new day is the beginning, and only you have to power to change it. And you can do it.

I saw him on that Celebrity Rehab show and i felt really sorry for him:( I think he is such a sweet guy and is just misunderstood.
I’m sure that if I actually knew Sean Stewart I would think he was a worthless douchebag. But, since I don’t know him, I’m willing to give him the benefit of the doubt and believe that he is a worthless douchebag anyway.
look towards your spiritual side sean , as most of us do through our lives, find a day job and stop living off rod , because it will give you self worth and independance.
