  • hm.
well, i guess this is the next stage in the generation shift.
you know, miley cyrus and all the little baby sisters are coming up to take the starlet tabloid spots of lindsay lohan and britney spears…
so the older girls i suppose are moving up to the breeding phase.
    just the beauty of nature.

  • why a new born, why not a tween or teen….

why adopt in the first place linds. your family is crazy as it is..no need to ruin another kids life to write a book about it. which is the other phase after they breed.

  • Lindsay LoLife can’t even take care of herself, so what makes her think she can take care of another kid?

  • Ok,

    1. She didn’t say today, it’s a “some time in the future” thing.

    2. She did say “Child in need” so it could be an older American child.

Hey, if she can stay clean, stay healthy, why not? At least she’s not breeding. (Also, lesbians, they don’t so much get knocked up…)

I can’t believe I just defended Lindsay Lohan some day raising a child. Huh.

  • Gee lau_ren! Adopting a American baby does not attract the paparazzi!
LiLO teeth look gross! With she and SamRo playing Mom, Michael as the granddad, coupled with Whit Oprah pimping out the soon-to-be adopted wonder, I feel sorry for the kid already.

  • Lindsay is a 22 year old young woman who wants to be a mother some day. Since she is a lesbian, adoption would be the logical way to go. She never said that she was limiting herself to a foreign adoption, but the domestic adoption situation in the United States is problematic, to say the least, and thousands of U.S. families adopt internationally every year because of that. I believe that even Beet is considering an international adoption. And trust me, everyone, and I do mean everyone, has plenty of family drama and dysfunction in their background.

  • At some point, I’d like to eat a sandwich. A ham and cheese, or maybe chicken salad. I’m not sure yet.

  • “Since she is a lesbian, adoption would be the logical way to go. ”

firstly, she is in a lesbian relationship – she is not necessarily “a lesbian”…and just because you’re lesbian doesn’t mean you can’t become preggers! in this day and age, there are many many “logical” ways to go.

  • Certainly there are other ways to go, but my point is that there is nothing illogical about her wanting to be a mother some day and contemplating adoption. I expect that the people who object to her contemplating adoption would be just as critical if she got pregnant.
Maybe more so, since she would be passing on her genetic heritage.

  • I’m still not convinced she’s over the corner snorting coke. Therefore, she doesn’t need any kids. But if Brit-brit has kids than I guess LiLez can have them too.

  • first of all, lindsay really need to take care of herself.
sometimes she talks too much to the media like her dad,
    adoption?at some point?
what on earth going on with her mind? poor baby,, :\

  • bc of own experience I know that a child does make you more mature in certain things, but that doesnt meen you should just pop out kids to get a little more brain. I really dont think she is ready to have kids in at this point of her life…she obviously still likes the clubbing, smoking, and getting drunk part of life….maybe she need to live that part of life first…cause having a kid is a LOT of responsability!!

  • Seems like a reasonable long-term ambition to me. Presumably she also hoped to get herself cleaned up and sorted out before then – which she’s doing a good job of already. When I was 22 I hoped to have a kid some day, which didn’t mean I expected to have one there and then.

Also, PoliteTia, what on earth is wrong with her teeth?

  • I like what Amused and Tigerlille said.

    1. Lindsay said, “At some point…” I’m pretty sure that doesn’t meant tomorrow or anytime in the near future, for that matter.

    2. I know plenty of people younger than her who have children. She’s still young and has plenty of time to grow up.

    3. I know plenty of people who are in much worse situations than she is. Plenty of young women have children while they have coke addictions and abusive boyfriends. And as far as family situations it could be much, much worse.

    4. A positive thing is that money will not be an issue. The baby will be provided for.

    5. Also, PoliteTia, you wrote: “a American baby.” For future references, when an article is in front of a vowel, you use “an.” And I don’t see anything wrong with her teeth.

    PS. I love this site.

  • So am I right in thinking that only morally upstanding pillars of the society with absolutly no mistakes in their past should start families?
In that case I am little worried for my own dreams for the future along with the majority of my friends..

  • Maybe she could adopt me! I’m from ‘another country’. I’m deprived (thanks to y’alls ‘financial crisis’). I’d be happy to go on a Marlboros / Red Bull diet until I’m as thin as SamLo. Yeah! Pick me!
