On November 7, software developer Eidos will release the America’s Next Top Model video game for Nintendo DS. The player will guide one aspiring model through photo shots, runway walking and challenges, with the goal of being the last woman (or transgendered individual!) standing.

My first instinct is to rant about this, but I have to admit that it’s nice to see the gaming industry focusing some attention on young women.

I think this sort of thing would be really fun with Nintendo Wii, where you could have players actually do a runway walk.

News just broke earlier this month that Candace Bushnell would be penning a series of books about a younger Carrie Bradshaw — her high-school years and whatnot — and already we’re hearing rumors that Miley Cyrus wants the main role.

“I think she’s adorable,” says Candace, when asked about the possibility. “The books aren’t going to come out until 2010, so it’s just too soon to predict anything—but again, I think she’s adorable.”

Hmmm.

So I’m making out with my dog the other day and one of my girlfriends is like, “Dude, look, someone has to tell you this: If I were a guy, I wouldn’t want to kiss you — ever — after watching you do that. You should know that.”

But whatever.

I’d rather get it on with my dog than some loser guy. At least I know Leo won’t finish before I do. He’s neutered, you know.

Britney Spears told Z100 in New York today that she plans to tour in 2009!

“Oh, definitely next year,” she said when asked about touring possibilities. “Probably around the world.”

You hear that? AROUND THE WORLD!

I have been meaning to get some international travel in. I am totally going to be a worldwide Britney Spears groupie in 2009. Seriously I am going to hand over Evil Beet to Leo and launch a blog dedicated to my travels of following Britney from country to country. I’ll be like those people who backpack through Europe and stay in hostels except for I will spend way less time in art museums and coffee shops and way more time at BRITNEY SPEARS CONCERTS!!!
