Congratulations to Yaya DaCosta, who has landed a lead role in the off-Broadway production of The First Breeze of Summer, starring alongside respected thespian Leslie Uggams.
Yaya’s performance is getting rave reviews.
Yaya was the runner-up on her cycle of America’s Next Top Model. The winner was Eva Pigford, who promptly changed her name to Eva Marcille and scored a couple of hosting gigs on BET as well as some small guest roles on the CW.

I always hated Yaya on ANTM. She pissed me off, I can’t remember why exactly I think she was just obnoxious
Don’t judge, they purposfully edited her film so she looked snobby. She was upset when she saw the footage, and did some soul-searching because she didn’t like how she appeared.
I love Eva… She has booked a contract role on The Young and the Restless and is on television everyday on CBS, I don’t really ever see Yaya but i don’t knock her grind
