You guys may or may not have noticed, but a certain page of this blog has, in the past months, somehow become a de facto discussion board for Jon & Kate Plus 8 fans (and critics). If you don’t believe me, click here and read the comments.
A popular point of discussion over there is a blog called Truth Breeds Hatred, which is supposedly written by the sister of Aunt Jodi, who is married to Kate Gosselin’s brother. If you watch the show, you know that Aunt Jodi was very involved in the first seasons of the show, basically bending over backwards to accommodate Kate’s every babysitting need — sometimes watching all eight of the Gosselin kids, overnight, in addition to her own four children. For free! And then when she didn’t show up in the most recent season, people started suggesting that Kate was bitter because Jodi’s patient and kind mothering skills were making Kate look awful in comparison, and also noting that the producers offered to pay Jodi for appearing on the current season — she had been doing all of this shit for free up until then — but that Kate put her foot down, said “no one gets paid for this show except our family” and booted Aunt Jodi out of the kids’ lives.
The Truth Breeds Hatred blog discusses all this from an insider’s perspective — confirming the rumors and basically painting Kate as the most horrid, despicable, selfish person on the planet. But was the blog really written by Jodi’s sister? Were the things she said about Kate actually true?
Today, Truth Breeds Hatred ran a video clip of Jodi, who seems genuinely crushed by how Kate betrayed her, and confirming that her sister does write the blog, and that it’s the truth.
I kind of hate how fascinated I am to watch all this play out, but I really do love it.

Ha, ha, Julie. I think that was her 2nd boob job. What does she tell the kids when she has this surgery? I would be totally embarrased telling my kids this. Those poor kids. Has her new show been cancelled yet? I never see any promo's about it.

Please tell me that someone else saw Kate’s show on sunday night. It amazes me that this show is still on the air. She was complaining that nothing worked around the house and how difficult it is taking care of 26 acres of land. It was hilarious watching her with the hose. If it is too much for you to handle Kate SELL IT!!!!!

I know Julie it seems like it’s been changing every week in here with a new set up. Well the article basically states that you must be 7 years old to be a tv show and the little kids are only 6. I’m surprised that this is the only place that I have read about this. I’m sure she’ll get off. She’ll just falsh those pearly whites at the judge.

Julie, I watched a small part of one show when she got chickens. Maddy hasn’t changed at all. I think Kate should really concentrate on her kids rather than being in the public eye. I will watch the upcoming show with Sarah Palin though. Kate is quite the actress. Phony, phony, phony. Have you seen any of them?

No Julie I haven’t heard any recent gossip about her and the body guard. Been out of the loop recently. Just sent our oldest to college and I’ve been a little out of it. I’ll have to catch on Ms. Gosselin.

I missed that show. I usually record regis on my dvr but we had a switch over and they got rid of all of my shows to be recorded. I did hear that she said that the kids don’t like going to jon’s apartment. So wasn’t she the reason?

I just read her show has been quietly cancelled because Jon wont sign the contracts with TLC so the kids can be on tv. She is addicted to being famous what will she do now?

Yes Racel Ive read on another site they say she has the stero type of that of Joan Crawford in Mommy Dearest and she parralles the movie to a T. She is a narccisist ( sp) someone from her town talks about her all the time and really knows things about her!

Wow! Didn’t hear any thing about the Alaska trip. I don’t watch the show any more actually I thought that it was taken off the air. I’m wondering if Jon will get custody of the kids. I think when they are 18 they can decide which parent they would like to live with. I bet they will choose Jon. Small apartment and no frills yet hopefully some calmness and love.

Hi Rachel! I’m good. I use Facebook & twitter, and an occasional site here & there but nothing like we had going here at one time. That was some fun, huh? Do you ever hear from any of the old gang? Big Daddy kept in touch for a while but got PO’ed at me for something (I forget) and won’t answer emails. Missy emailed me a time or two until she mentioned the Katrina victims in a derogatory manner — and I told her I felt she was wrong, since I’d been a volunteer. Oh well…
Hey, Kate had (or has?) a show with just her and the kids. I found it channel surfing but couldn’t stand to watch.
