I guess I was around Hollywood for too long, I think she’s very coherent, I think that interview is poorly cut – so sh d to keep the length down, not her necessarily. She is insightful about the way she is perceived, the way her daughter is perceived and I believe that how she feels when she comes off a show is about how everyone feels when the show is over.
I think she is trying to put he daughter first and still be an artist. People forget she is an actress as well and did some acclaimed work.
I did not get the cocaine vibe you got at all, I really think she tends to ramble and change the subject and the video was just cut for time. My opinion, and I have around a lot of people working when they were coked up.
I still stand by the fact that I say she is on painkillers. She rambles on and on and on and on, and I bet she has a lil klonapin mixed in as well, to give her that wonderful slow drawn out speak. She def aint sober.
She is such a far cry away from the Courtney Love back in the late 80’s and 90’s that I idolized. Now she talks so much shit, and her music is shit now, her time has long gone for her music. She ought to just work on her acting.

I thought Courtney’s mom raised Frances Bean, which is slightly ironic in itself as to how Courtney turned out so ****ed up and Frances actually seems to have a head on her shoulders. Only time will tell, but I’m rooting for that one!

I’ve known Courtney’s and I’ve know Amy’s, I always feel a draw to these kinds of people when I know in my heart they’re always going to let you down in the end. Deep down you always want to save them I guess, even when you know they’d backstab you in the end just to get what they want.
I hope her daughter becomes a better person from all of this, she is beautiful like her mom once was, hopefully she can make something out of her life.

Its funny because if you listen, at one point she says she is crusified everyday. are you guys stupid? it doesn’t matter if she’s ON anything or not, she has done SO MANY drugs anyway it wouldn’t matter. i have an aunt who is a huge drug addict and when she went sober she would still talk like a grandious ego maniac on speed. The facts of life kids, can you imagine being a teenage girl in 1994 and watching this now and going “whew, thank god for college, i really dodged a bullet there!”

There’s nothing insightful about saying “I literally am crucified everyday” in an interview about your life. Even Jesus was only crucified once (unless you count the reenactment Catholic churches do each year). It would be so easy for people to just not say the word “literally” in those statements and to avoid looking like an idiot!
Regardless of whether she’s on something during the interview, which is hard to judge due to the editing, Courtney’s ingested more cocaine than all the residents of a small South American country combined. That’s a lot of white powder for one girl.

MelKa: sorry to be misconstrued, but i get that the US is full of champion drug users. The point wasn’t that Courtney Love does more drugs than the US, but that she does more than her fair share (hence the small country reference). I don’t think she’d be able to match the ridiculousness that is American excess. But I’m thinking she’s in the running to beat some other countries’ total usage.
