The two were supposed to honeymoon in the Maldives, but they never made it. “Why fly 16 hours to an island paradise when they were already on one in Palm Beach?” says her publicist. Right. Because Ivana Trump is all about doing things the simplest way.
They were also expected to be in Cannes right now — there was a party scheduled in their honor on Saturday — but they didn’t show up, and the party has been canceled. “Ivana decided not to go to Cannes this year,” said her publicist. “She did it for 30 years. Why does she have to do it again?” Um, maybe because people were actually throwing a party in her honor? And she had a commitment to be there?
