Despite the constant rumors — which seem to have reached a crescendo lately — that there is trouble a-brewin’ in Chez Cruise, Tom and Katie seem very much the happy couple as they leave a Broadway show this weekend.
I dunno, I kind of think I’m starting to go to the dark side: I’m beginning to think this relationship might be for real. Like, they might both be total loons, but I think for the most part they’re happily married loons. And Tom may still be gay as the day is long, but he’s stuck with Katie for a long-ass time now, so something about this is working for both of them. And, unlike most Hollywood couples, they seem to make a concerted effort to spend most of their time in the same city. I just don’t think you do that with two busy careers and a fake relationship, at least not two years in. Am I crazy?

I think they are for real. Odd, perhaps, but really a family.

I think that he sees her as the perfect wife to follow him around and do as he wishes. i loved katie my bad- tom prefers she be called ‘kate’- when she was in wonder boys but something tells me that she will never be able to show any genuine emotion on screen again since tom seems have taken away her ability to feel.

Of course they’re still together. Whenever she’s allowed out and has a chance to run, he’s got a death grip on her hand. It’s not normal to hold someone’s hand that much or that tight unless you’re trying to keep them from escaping.

I think their relationship is “real” int he sense that Katie realizes she can’t leave Tom because of Suri, so she is making it work. I think she really does love him but is also very fearful of him– not a good combination. And i agree with the earlier comments about her having a glassy-eyed look like she’s in a cult (because she is). Poor thing.
