Hooray for Shia LaBeouf, who successfully argued to have charges dropped against him regarding smoking outside a Burbank store.
His attorney argued that he had absolutely no idea he was breaking the law when he lit up.
“I don’t live in Burbank, but I understand that Burbank considers public smoking to be a nuisance. Unbeknownst to most people, Burbank has enacted certain municipal ordinances which prohibit members of the public from smoking in certain designated areas,†his lawyer said. “Casual visitors to the city would not be aware of these ordinances. Shia was not aware of this ordinance. And in Burbank, they consider a violation of their ordinances a misdemeanor.”
THANK YOU. i know smoking is a health hazard, and i make a point of not smoking around childen or ppl who object…but i would hate to get cited for smoking outdoors. minding my own bidness!
Awww! I’m so sad Shia smokes! But that in no way diminishes my desire to do dirty dirty things to him. He and I belong together. I mean, he likes black girls (Rihanna) so that means I have a chance. I LOVE him!

this kind of fundamentalism is unnecessary in Burbank and smoking can be as dangerous as other stuff, anyway.Depends on the amount of cigarettes you smoke.
a friend of mine has been to a town in the US where smoking is prohibited in the outside, unless you are some predetermined yards away from the windows

um, we live in california where smoking is banned from inside any and all public places…bars, restaurants, etc…but you thought maybe you could smoke inside of walgreens or whatever? good luck with that one.
