This was, hands-down, my favorite movie as a child. I was obsessed with it. Do you guys know the movie I’m talking about? With the super-powered kids and the bad guys trying to exploit them? And they had a really cool ice cream parlor? And a puppet theater? Remember, guys???
The film — released originally in 1975 — is being remade by Disney and titled Race to Witch Mountain.
They’ve cast The Rock in the good guy role, and some Irish guy named Ciaran Hinds as the bad guy. As for Tia and Tony, they’re being played by AnnaSophia Robb and Alexander Ludwig.
They better do this movie justice!

OK you are not alone THIS was the GREATEST Movie, I always wished I had those super powers!!!! I can’t wait to drag my kids to see it as an excuse to watch for myself!!!!

I was *just* talking about this movie over the weekend. A friend and I were discussing the movies we always wanted our parents to rent for us when we were sick. So much fun to watch as a kid!
You know the little girl in that movie is Paris Hilton’s aunt, right?

I love love loved this movie. But a remake?
It won’t have the cheesy 70′s music or the flares or ANYTHING.
Remakes scare me normally, when I like the film it just makes it worse.

They did already remake this one in 1995. Erik Von Detten played the little boy. So are they doing remakes every 10-12 years now? Oh well. I’m excited about it too!
They totally did remake this already I swear.
