Britney Spears Pulls a Winona

Seriously, we’re all pretty desperate for stories on a very slow Presidents Day holiday.

Of everything that Britney Spears has done and not done lately, I can’t imagine why we all care that homegirl walked out of Fred Segal yesterday wearing a $200 shirt that she “forgot” to pay for, causing chaos on the street. But, like I said, slow news day.

A shopper said: “Britney seemed to be in a daze. She rushed around looking at coats and bags and then left with her gang of 25 people.

“The staff were just staring at each other, then said ‘I think she’s taken a top’. There was chaos outside with fans and police.”

Whatever, Britney. If this is the worst thing you do all week, I’d say things are looking up.

  • forget that she “forgot” to pay for it, it’s a 2 hundred dollar shirt!! WTF!! that’s what’s rediculous!

  • What they need with Britney is some sort of court order keeping those paps at least fifty feet away from her when she is on foot, and several hundred feet away when in a vehicle. The catch would be finding legal grounds for the issuance of such an order! Her new lawyer seems quite inventive , after all who would have thought of using the federal courts system, perhaps he could come up with something. Without the close proximity of that mob following her at all times,… better things might start happening!

  • she wants the paps they get a bum deal, they are not the problem, they are not why she “forgot” to pay for an item, honestly!?! If she wanted privacy she would not court such attention and to her even negative attention is preferable to no attention what so ever. Do we see Christina behaving like this or Beyonce? If she wanted “space” she’d wander of the radar herself. Even Li Lo isn’t this bad.

  • i think you should start referring to celeb’s random “forgetfulness” to pay for things as “pulling a bai ling”… or would that be giving her too much credit?

    :)

  • She probably drops thousands of dollars there at a time and they chase her down because of a “$200” top that’s was probably literally made for less than $20…. ?? They couldn’t be discreet about it… call her rep or something? If I was a big spender and they did that to me, I wouldn’t shop there again. Ridiculous.
