Eva Mendes has reportedly been at the Cirque Lodge in Utah for several weeks now. This is the same place that played host to Lindsay Lohan for a matter of months during her last rehab visit.
Says her rep:
“Eva has been working hard for the past year and made a positive decision to take some much-needed time off to proactively attend to some personal issues that, while not critical, she felt deserved some outside professional support. Out of respect for Eva’s privacy, we do not wish to discuss further details.”

Several weeks??? That’s like Pete Doherty/Amy Winehouse level, no? Okay, even our own Leggings Lohan spent a few weeks in rehabilitative seclusion, so let me banish images of Brittany Murphy in GIRL INTERRUPTED out of my head.
I’m not sure if Eva is single, but if so, maybe she’ll find true love in rehab, like Lindsay did. At the very least, I hope Eva kicks her demons to the curb. I blame Denzel Washington for this, because he turned Eva on to the drug lifestyle in TRAINING DAY.

For the non-record, since there are other people who may share Mr. NYC’s vapidness and actually care about this, I think Denzel Washington is a brilliant actor and I think Eva is a compelling celebrity and I wish her the best in her recovery and continued career.
